Sa muagi ug Mananga Bridge, please look at this.

Gisuwatan ta sa DPWH Regional Director, Edgar Tabacon na naa silay construction sa Mananga bridge, padung Cebu City na side.

DPWH Regional Director Edgar Tabacon has informed me that they will be conducting retrofitting and strengthening of the Cebu City-bound side of the Mananga Bridge starting 8 a.m. of January 9 until 5 a.m. of January 11.

Note - pag meeting Jan 11 ila ingon. Sayop ang letter kay Jan 10 naka suwat.

That means, that the Cebu City-bound side of the Mananga Bridge or Mananga Bridge 2 will be closed at those times.

Pag una nakong lingkod isip mayor, Talisay and the south of Cebu was faced with difficulty sa pag trabaho dha sa Mananga sa DPWH region 7.

That’s why since then, I always make it a point na dili musugod ang DPWH ug project kung dili mu coordinate sa city.

Kay Bisan DPWH project na, ang residente sa city mao man mag lisod and CT-TODA man ghapon mu manage sa traffic, dili man DPWH.

To address the traffic situation at the area while one of the two Mananga Bridges is closed, we have decided to come up with traffic schemes to prevent a possible traffic jam from happening at the Natalio Bacalso Avenue.

Starting January 9, Mananga Bridge 1 or the southbound side of the two bridges will be opened to two-way traffic but up to four-wheel vehicles only.

Vehicles with six-wheels and up have two options:

1. Vehicles from South going to Tabunok, right turn to Antonio Bacaltos St., left turn to CSCR, then another left turn to Rabaya St. then exit to Tabunok.

2. Vehicles from Lagtang going South, they can either pass by Rabaya Street (Alturas Terminal) then right turn to San Isidro, and exit to CSCR or they can proceed to Rabaya Street (Nonoc) then right turn to CSCR.

For passenger buses and trucks going to Cebu City, they can pass by the CSCR towards their destination.

Please be mindful of this advisory. Mag pa butang sad mi ug signages sa kadalanan.

Hopefully, DPWH will commit to its timeline in finishing their work at 5 a.m. of January 11. Dili unta nato hasol-hasolon ang atong mga motorista.
