Congratulations!

The Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA) wishes to announce and congratulate the following passers of the Theoretical Examinations for Marine Deck and Engine Officers conducted at the MARINA Central Office and MARINA Region XI – Davao City on 28 February 2024, Wednesday.

Out of 54 examinees, there were 41 passers with a passing rate of 75.93%.

Of the 41 passers, 1 out of 2 examinees or 50.00% passed the Deck Management Level Examination while 3 out of 5 examinees or 60.00% passed the Deck Operational Level Examination. For the Engine Operational Level, there was 1 out 3 examinees or 33.33% passed the exam. Further, there were 36 out of 43 examinees, or 83.72% passed the GMDSS Radio Operators Examination.

The said Examinations were administered under MARINA Competency Assessment System (MCAS) Version 2.

Please be informed that the Seafarer's Record Book (SRB) and Seafarer's Identity Document (SID) Processing Centers nationwide are currently experiencing a technical issue in printing, resulting in the temporary suspension of SRB and SID issuance as of 08:00 a.m, 28 February 2024.

While efforts are underway to rectify the system malfunction, all affected applicants are advised to return on 29 February 2024 at 1:00 p.m. to personally claim their SRB and/or SID or appoint an authorized representative to do so.
