They say, you gotta keep up with the world in order to grow, you gotta be chasing after your dreams, and you gotta be at least adherent to society's definition of success. I must say, some are partly true on my part but not the most important things when you are trying so hard to atleast survive a day.
Keeping up with the world is draining, but it doesn't mean that I need to walk fast in order to grow. There is no haste for growth, it is a process that is taken individually. I mean, I want to enjoy every step I take without overlooking its beauty and blotches. Experiences will help me get there and not the time the world has set for me, but my with my own pace and own timeline. Chasing my dreams is one of the reasons why I am still braving every storm I encounter along the way, but that doesn't mean, all of these things are meant for me. I need not to compromise what's more important, but I am doing the best of my ability to live them.
I don't want to fit in to society's definition of success, where you are considered successful because you are a four–year degree holder, a professional, a career–person or anyone who has a higher status in the society. Success for me is being able to live with the simple things, small achievements and little progress, nothing so grand but something that is meaningful and impactful.
Still, no matter how much we try to hustle with the world, we still need to step on our brakes sometimes and give ourselves time to take a break from everything.

Let them misunderstand you.
Don't live to satisfy everyone else's opinion about you. Never let judgemental people stop you from being yourself. Man sees your actions but God sees your heart.
Kung may mga tao na mas piliin ka pag usapan kaysa tulungan okay lang yun.Kung mas pinili nila husgahan ka kaysa alamin ang katotohan okay lang din yun. Minsan nga kung sino pa yung palagi mo kasama at kausap sila pa yung marami opinyon sa buhay mo. Pero tandaan mo, hindi mo kailangan ibaba ang sarili mo para magkaroon ng inis o galit sa kanila. Dahil wala na hihigit pa sa pagbabalik ng kabutihan sa kabila ng maling pagtrato at pakikisama.
Manatili kapa rin mabuti,
kahit sila hindi. At kung may mga opinyon man sila sa buhay mo, tandaan mo hindi mo responsibilidad na pakinggan sila kung alam mo nagiging dahilan ito para mahirapan at ma pressure ka. May mga boses na pinapakinggan at dapat iniiwasan. Alam mo dapat mo gawin? mas patunayan mo sa kanila na mali sila simula pa lang.
God knows your intentions.
remind yourself that it's okay to make mistakes and to be disappointed, failures are always part of the process, if you failed today, don't underestimate your dreams, don't be afraid to try again.
when people are starting to learn a lot about you, about the things that you do, things you hate, things you are afraid of, things that make you passionately living; when they learn about your scars, all your blemishes, your destructive thoughts, your lapses, your shortcomings, and your weaknesses, it's either those things will make them stay or make them leave.
choose people who choose to embrace whoever and whatever you are even when they have seen your ugliest parts and who acknowledge your worth no matter what phase you are in. choose people who make you feel validated in every aspect and keep them.
there are some days that we seek somebody else's shelter and we need to acknowledge that.

it’s hard to accept the reality of letting people go, leaving places behind, and stopping yourself from doing what you used to in order to grow—in order to learn. it’s never easy to step forward knowing that you’ll need to lose some people so you can find yourself. it’s not easy to run away from places that gave you warmth for once. it’s quite difficult to finally move forward and choose to walk to an unfamiliar path but after knowing and realizing that it will help you nurture and nourish your well being, fear became just a word—not something that will hold you back. i know it’s scary to be on your own and it’s totally okay because one way or another, you still need to walk on your own. this is growing. it’s life.
I LOVE THIS ANALOGY:
You are holding a cup of coffee when someone comes along and bumps into you or shakes your arm, making you spill your coffee everywhere. Why did you spill the coffee?
"Because someone bumped into me!!!"
Wrong answer.
You spilled the coffee because there was coffee in your cup. Had there been tea in the cup, you would have spilled tea. Whatever is inside the cup is what will spill out.
Therefore, when life comes along and shakes you (which WILL happen), whatever is inside you will come out. It's easy to fake it, until you get rattled.
So we have to ask ourselves... “what's in my cup?"
When life gets tough, what spills over? Joy, gratitude, peace and humility?
Anger, bitterness, victim mentality and quitting-tendencies?
Life provides the cup, YOU choose how to fill it.
Today let's work towards filling our cups with gratitude, forgiveness, joy, words of affirmation, resilience, positivity; and kindness, gentleness and love for others.

Some of the things we're frustrated about cannot be achieved overnight. Financial freedom, career satisfaction, moving on, healing. We beat ourselves up for failing to keep up with the successful and happy faces around us, but what for?

you are capable of doing so many things. it’s just that you haven’t tried them yet.
As fast as everything is getting, we should also be quick on our toes as to how to grow our money.
