: Saraswati Temple.

Saraswati Temple is a Balinese Hindu temple in Ubud, Bali. The temple is dedicared to goddess Sarasvati - one of the principal goddssses of Hinduism. It was constructed in 1951 and designed by Balinese stone scupltor and architecy I Gusti Nyoman Lempad. It's official name is Pura Taman Kemuda Saraswati and also known as Ubud Water Palace.

Visitors are only allowed at the outer area of the temple compound. It is because only visitors who wish to pray or invited by priest can enter the main temple. The grounds in outer area are full of carvings of Hindu mythological figures. The temple is very notable for its lotus pond cut acrossed by bridge-like entrance. The picturesque pond is surrounded by Fragipani trees while the pond is more beautiful when it is covered by pink lotus flowers in bloom.

: Ubud Monkey Forest.

Ubud Monkey Forest also known as Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary is a natural sanctuary located in the village of Padangtegal in Bali. The forest approximately covers 12.5 hectares and is home to over 1200 long-tailed macaque monkeys. It is a famous attraction in Ubud where every month, around 15,000 visitors come to the forest. It also has three Hindu temples that were all apparently constructed around 1350 and plays an important role in the spiritual life of the local community.

The sanctuary holds a significant history intertwined with Balinese culture. Dating back to the 14th century, it has been regarded as a sacred place, housing spiritual forces and guardian spirits. The monkeys, seen as sacred animals symbolize both protection and mischief, fostering a unique connection between humans and wildlife. Today, the sanctuary gained recognition as a vital conservation area. Efforts were made to preserve its natural beauty, promote responsible tourism and raise awareness about the cultural and environmental significance. It stands as a cherished sanctuary, where visitors can connect with nature, observe captivating monkey behavior and support the ongoing conservation efforts.

: Goa Gajah.

Goa Gajah or literally meaning The Elephant Cave, is a religious sanctuary built for meditation and prayers for the Hindus in Bali. The centerpiece of this archeological site is the cave with carved menacing faces into the stone - Whose purpose is assumed to be warding of the evil spirits. The inside of the temple cave is small and has trails of white smoke from incense burning. A stone statue of Hindu God Ganesh is found inside the temple where sources says the temple was named after as Ganesh is characterized by having the head of an elephant.

The complex's bathing pool contains 7 statues of women holding water pitchers that depict seven holy rivers of India. The cave was rediscovered in 1923 and the fountains and bathing pool were discovered in 1954. Goa Gajah was built in 9th century and located in Bedulu Village near Ubud.

: The Barong and Keris Dance.

The Barong and Keris Dance is a traditional Balinese dance that showcases its art and culture. Often associated with spirituality, it is often perform in ritual ceremonies. But more recently, the dance is perform to visitors of Bali for the island's appreciation of culture, art and traditions. The dance drama presentation portrays the classic battle of good vs. evil story that is well-known and loved in Bali. Barong is king of the spirits, the leader of the hosts of good and depicted in a form of lion. While, the enemy Rangda is the demon queen and mother of all spirit guarders in the mythological traditions of Bali. The dance features a battle between the Barong and Rangda to represent the eternal battle of good and evil.

Regular Barong dance performances can be found in many places in Bali, however, the most popular are performed by the Batu Bulan villagers in the district of Gianyar, or at Kesiman, Denpasar.
