Korean League of Legends team Griffin has officially disbanded and ceased all of its operations. Just two seasons ago, the organization's team had made it to the League of Legends World Championship quarterfinals. But a series of scandals and controversies ultimately put Griffin down into the ground for good.

"We would like to express our endless thanks to the fans who have supported Team Griffin" the organization announced on social media.

The 2021 LCK season is set to begin on January 13th. Griffin will not be participating for the first time in three seasons.

Esports orgs such as ESL and PGL will be organizing the tournament in other countries. In the Philippines, it will be Mineski who will organize the professional league for Wild Rift.
