𝐉𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝐈𝐍 || 𝐔𝐄𝐏 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝟒𝟏𝟑 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐋𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 𝐋𝐄𝐏𝐓

The University of Eastern Philippines (UEP) once again affirmed its commitment to quality teacher education after recording strong results in the September 2025 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT), with a total of 413 passers across the Elementary and Secondary levels.

In the Elementary Level, UEP posted an encouraging performance as 87 first-time takers successfully passed the examination, translating to an 80.56% passing rate. In addition, two retakers earned their licenses, bringing the university’s overall passing rate to 63.57%, with a total of 89 new elementary teachers produced.

Meanwhile, in the Secondary Level, UEP registered 298 passers among first-time takers, achieving a 69.63% passing rate, while 26 repeaters also passed the examination. This resulted in an overall passing rate of 51.84%, with a total of 324 new licensed secondary teachers.

The university, through its President Dr. Cherry I. Ultra, proudly celebrates the success of its graduates, whose perseverance, discipline, and academic preparation have culminated in this milestone. The results likewise reflect the sustained efforts of UEP’s faculty members and administrators in strengthening instruction, mentoring future educators, and upholding excellence in teacher education.

As UEP continues to produce competent and committed teachers, the university reinforces its vital role in nation-building—shaping educators who will inspire, guide, and transform future generations in classrooms across the country.

Isang magsasaka na kinilalang si Pobleo Narca, 53 taong gulang, residente ng Brgy. Oleras, Laoang, Northern Samar, ang pinuri at pinarangalan matapos niyang isauli sa pulisya ang isang napulot na bag na naglalaman ng ₱60,000 cash, cellphone, passport, at dalawang mamahaling relo.

Ayon sa Laoang Municipal Police Station, agad na dinala ni Narca ang bag sa mga tauhan ng 2nd Northern Samar Provincial Mobile Force Company at Laoang MPS sa halip na angkinin. Natukoy ang may-ari na si Ms. Cristina Sharpe matapos niyang makita ang social media post ng pulisya kaugnay sa nawalang bag.

Bilang pagkilala sa kanyang katapatan, naibigay na ng Local Government Unit ng Laoang, sa pangunguna ni Mayor Charlene L. Ongchuan, ang Certificate of Commendable Laoanganon Values at cash incentive sa nasabing magsasaka. Nagbigay rin ng Certificate of Commendation si PCPT NI**OD R HOLARES, Hepe ng Laoang MPS.

Nagpasalamat si PCOL SONNIE B OMENGAN, Provincial Director ng Northern Samar Police Provincial Office, sa Laoang-LGU sa kanilang agarang pagkilala at hinikayat ang publiko na tularan ang katapatan at mabuting halimbawa na ipinamalas ni Narca.
