Grade 7, Grade 9 showcase Philippine folk dance and festivals in MAPEH culminating activity
Malacampa National High School is alive with activity as Grade 7 and 9 students participate in the MAPEH (Music, Arts, Physical Education, and Health) Culminating Activity yesterday, January 31.
Seven sections from Grade 7 performed Habanera Botolena from Botolan, Zambales. While 10 sections of Grade 9 showcased various festivals across the Philippines, which include the Panagbenga Festival (Baguio City), Bangus Festival (Dagupan City), Kadayawan Festival (Davao City), Maskara Festival (Bacolod City), and Pahiyas Festival ( Quezon Province).
The event, held at the school's covered ground, highlights students' abilities in music, arts, physical education, and health.
Performances, exhibitions, and interactive activities are engaging the audience as students showcase their acquired knowledge from the year.
Educators and school administrators observe with pride, acknowledging the diligence and commitment of the participants.
The event serves not just as a celebration but also as a means to evaluate students' progress across MAPEH's various components .
The culminating activity effectively underscores the significance of creativity, fitness, and self-expression, as students deliver their finest performances.
