Jerry Caingcoy is also the Founder & President of The Filipino Champions of Canada (TFCC). Among his notable accomplishments are the well-known inspirational platforms such as The Filipino Champions Talk, Cafe Talk, Multicultural Champions and The Filipino Champions of The Year Awards. He’s been instrumental in the success of various community events and leadership programs such as Championing our Communities Workshop, Pinoy Breakthrough Conference, Business Wise Conference and many major collaborative projects and outreaches.

Jerry has been a career public servant for 13 years now at the local government of The City of Calgary. He was a Team Leader for 7 years in managing the non-tax related corporate revenue of The City. Recently, he was promoted to Finance Leader position.

Jerry is also a passionate advocate for personal development and mentorship especially for newcomers to Canada. He currently serves as a Director of Calgary Region Immigrant Employment Council (CRIEC).

Jerry also hosts a weekly program at FCM Live – Canada’s Multicultural Media to promote, inform and advocate for the Filipino Canadian community on diverse topics and concerns.

Jerry is from Biliran Province in the Philippines, an avid tennis player and a passionate home cook. He shares authentic Filipino dishes through the social media page “Pinoy Kitchen Abroad”.
