Academic Tips for the Fourth Grading Period
By Kiersten Mae B. Yutan (10B)

The Third Quarter has ended, signaling that it is time for us to improve on aspects of our academic pursuits, leaving space for growth. Here are some tips to improve your grades for the Fourth Quarter. We all have to admit at times that we tend to set aside tasks and procrastinate until the deadline is near, or when we study for a quiz the night before the quiz. As the Fourth Quarter unfolds, it will mark the end of the school year. Thus, we have to leave our bad habits behind.

The quarterly examinations, or periodical tests, will be back this quarter, which means we have to study for exams again. A tip for studying is to study smart and not harder. We may think that to ace our quizzes, we have to study harder. Yes, we may need our diligence, but studying smart will help you in the long run because it has shown to be effective which saves you a lot of time.
