SK Chairman David Roy Manalo of Barangay 120 has posted false and defamatory information about me on his Facebook account. I do not know his motives, but this constitutes cyber libel, which is a crime. Given that he is an elected official, this also amounts to grave misconduct.
This post is clearly malicious and aimed at damaging my reputationโnot only as a candidate but also as a legitimate businessman. If he truly wanted to verify his claims, he could have checked with the courts and the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR). Instead, he chose to spread falsehoods irresponsibly.
There have been similar cases in the past where individuals who spread lies like this were convicted of libel. This is an even more serious offense.
SK Chairman David Manalo, you are young, but as a leader, you must uphold integrity and responsibility. You have 24 hoursโuntil 2:00 PM tomorrowโto issue a public apology and explain where you got this false information. If you fail to do so, I will proceed with filing criminal and administrative cases against you.
