The Oriental Mindoro National High School (OMNHS) Brass Band BLEW the crowd off and was crowned champion at the "Tunog Mindoro-Interschool Brass Band Competition," held at OMNHS this November 14 2024.

With every strike to the drums, every wave of the flags, and every twirl of the baton, their synchronized precision and colorful musical display earned them the top prize, underscoring their impressive talent and teamwork.

"Actually I was happy and also medyo nervous din, but a part of us were believing na magcha-champion kami. We were so happy noong OMNHS ang inannounce as champions. Yung saya namin was over the moon, kasi pinag hirapan din namin to nang almost 1 month and 2 weeks eh. Hindi rin naman namin maabot to without our bandmaster, Sir Najeeb, and yung mga trainers namin na naka support samin sa every practice namin. Napaiyak na nga lang rin kami sa super saya and sa blood, sweat, and tears na sinacrifice namin para maging champions," Sofia Miranda, one of the champion's majorette said.

The sacrifices and tiredness have clearly paid off. The OMNHS Brass band's sweat and tears earn pride for itself, the school, and the community as they inspire future musicians to do their best and always strive for the golden trophy.

๐‹๐Ž๐Ž๐Š | In celebration of ๐—ก๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป๐—ฎ๐—น ๐— ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜๐—ฎ๐—น ๐—›๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—น๐˜๐—ต ๐—ช๐—ฒ๐—ฒ๐—ธ, teachers from Oriental Mindoro National High School engage in a Zumba dance session held at the gymnasium on October 9, 3:00 pm.

The OMNHS Gymnasium was filled with sounds of enjoyment and graceful grooves after the successful participation of teachers in a Zumba dance.

With the theme "๐ˆ๐ญ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐“๐ข๐ฆ๐ž ๐ญ๐จ ๐๐ซ๐ข๐จ๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐ณ๐ž ๐Œ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐š๐ฅ ๐‡๐ž๐š๐ฅ๐ญ๐ก ๐ข๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐–๐จ๐ซ๐ค๐ฉ๐ฅ๐š๐œ๐ž,โ€ this activity aims to advocate for and increase mental health awareness and establish a strong foundation and relationship within the community.
