Paper Satellites - "YSGFM" Live at Sandugo Studios
Live at Sandugo Studios is about celebrating the pulse of our local music scenes' creative hearts. Empowering local voices, amplifying raw talent – Live at Sandugo Studios is where the city's heartbeat becomes music, and authenticity takes the spotlight.
Paper Satellites is an indie rock outfit hailing from East Manila. Formed in 2015, the band is currently composed of Jyle Macalintal, Paulo Carpio, Aaron Escueta, and Martin Cruz. The group harks back to 90's and early 2000's music with their jagged guitar work that juxtaposes with their playful rhythm sections.
In 2017, they produced their first EP by themselves. The group has also played in and around Metro Manila, notably in Fete de la Musique 2018 where they played in Freshman Stage.
After going through major changes in the band, they released Mexico and Golden Age in 2019, where they teased a more mature approach to songwriting. In 2021, they became part of Lilystars Records' roster and released their singles Towns, Have Fun Tonight and Try Again under the record label.
On April 1st, 2022, Paper Satellites has released their 13-track debut album, Manila Meltdown. Recorded, Mixed and Mastered at Sandugo Studios.
