The first Grace Period deadline to submit the KYC application is now extended to December 31, 2024, making it the same as the second deadline to migrate.

The final Grace Period deadline has not changed and is still December 31, 2024.

This extension ensures all Pioneers have ample opportunity to secure their Pi while maintaining the overall timeframe of 6-month Grace Period unchanged.

Submit your KYC application and complete your Mainnet Checklist by December 31, 2024, to avoid any forfeiture.

The Core Team has developed several methods to help Pioneers pass KYC at various points in the application, validation, and approval processes.

New Releases: This week, we released a new feature to unblock many Pioneers in the KYC process. A password-change requirement was added in the Mainnet Checklist for some Pioneers, after the completion of which they will make sure their account is secure before proceeding in the KYC.

And today, we’re introducing a new appeal functionality, which for the first time allows Pioneers to appeal some KYC rejection decisions and present their case for a second opinion if they disagree with Validators’ judgment.

Finally!

5 years of mining!!!

Back in 2019, I engaged with Pi Network and after a year, PCT gave me a slot for KYC verification.

This verification process thingy is disappointing cause I was waiting for 4 years to be able to go ahead to step 7 from step 5 for verification.

Today, it is very good news. As I check the mainnet checklist, I am surprised that it states that I am now capable of sigining the acknowledgement to receive tokens!

P.S Thank you PCT for this wonderful phase of my journey of mining pi tokens.
