Tuesday Devotion to St. Anthony de Padua

PRAYER:
O Holy Saint Anthony, the gentlest and kindest of all Saints, your burning love of God, your exalted virtues and your great charity towards your fellow creatures made you worthy, when on earth to possess miraculous powers such as were given to no other saint. To the sick you gave back health, you restored what was lost and the sorrow stricken were the objects of your tender compassion.

Encouraged by this thought and convinced of the efficacy of your holy intercession, I kneel before your holy image and full of confidence, I implore you to obtain for me the favour that I now need. (Name intention).

O gentle and loving St. Anthony, you whose heart was ever full of human sympathy, whisper my prayer into the ears of the Infant Jesus, who loved to linger in your arms. One word from you and my prayer will be granted.

One Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory Be.

O wonderful St. Anthony, glorious on account of the fame of your miracles, and through the condescension of Jesus in coming in the form of a little child to rest in your arms, obtain for me of His bounty the grace which I ardently desire from the depths of my heart . You who were so compassionate toward miserable sinners, regard not the unworthiness of those who pray to you, but the glory of God that it may once again be magnified by the granting of the particular request (State your intention) which I now ask for with persevering earnestness. Ang Panalangin ng Banal na Pamilya

HESUS, Anak ng Diyos at Anak ni Maria, pagpalain mo ang aming pamilya. Magiliw na magbigay ng inspirasyon sa amin ang pagkakaisa, kapayapaan, at pagmamahalan sa isa't isa na natagpuan mo sa iyong sariling pamilya sa maliit na bayan ng Nazareth.

MARIA, Ina ni Hesus at Aming Ina, pakainin mo ang aming pamilya ng iyong pananampalataya at pagmamahal. Ilapit mo kami sa iyong Anak, si Hesus, sa lahat ng aming kalungkutan at kagalakan.

JOSEPH, Foster-father ni Hesus, tagapag-alaga at asawa ni Maria, ingatan mo ang aming pamilya sa kapahamakan. Tulungan mo kami sa lahat ng oras ng panghihina ng loob o pagkabalisa.

BANAL NA PAMILYA NG NAZARETH, iisa mo ang aming pamilya. Tulungan mo kaming maging instrumento ng kapayapaan. Ipagkaloob na ang pag-ibig, na pinalakas ng biyaya, ay maaaring maging mas makapangyarihan kaysa sa lahat ng kahinaan at pagsubok na kung minsan ay dinaranas ng ating mga pamilya. Nawa'y laging nasa gitna ng ating mga puso at tahanan ang Diyos hanggang sa maging isang pamilya tayong lahat, masaya at payapa sa ating tunay na tahanan kasama ka. Amen.

PANALANGIN SA ARAW NG MGA KALULUWA

Maawaing Ama, Kami ay lumalapit sa Iyo ngayon na may mapagpakumbabang puso, nananalangin para sa mga kaluluwa ng mga taong lumisan na sa mundong ito.

Bigyan mo sila ng kapayapaan, kapatawaran, at walang hanggang kapahingahan sa Iyong presensya. “Kaya't ginawa niya ang pagbabayad-sala para sa mga patay upang sila ay maligtas sa kanilang kasalanan.”

Lumiwanag nawa sa kanila ang Iyong liwanag at gabayan sila tungo sa buhay na walang hanggan.

Aliwin ang ating mga nagdadalamhati, at palakasin ang ating pag-asa sa pangako ng pagkabuhay-muli. Sa pangalan ni Hesus, Amen.

A Prayer for All Saints Day
November 1st is All Saints Day! This solemnity is a day that we honor all the saints -- known & unknown!

Prayer:
Dear God, thank you for the example of the Saints.
I desire to join in their company, worshiping you forever in Heaven.
Please help me follow their footsteps, and yours, Jesus Christ.
Please help me to conform myself to Your image, seeking Your will in all things, as the Saints did.
Please help me to devote myself, and all that I do, to Your glory, and to the service of my neighbors. Amen.

A PRAYER TO MOTHER MARY

O Mary, my Mother, I kneel before you with heavy heart. The burden of my sins oppresses me. The knowledge of my weakness discourages me. I am beset by fear and temptation of every sort. Yet I am so attached to the things of this world that instead of longing for Heaven I am filled with dread at the thought of death.

O Mother of Mercy, have pity on me in my distress. You are all-powerful with your Divine Son. He can refuse no request of your Immaculate Heart. Show yourself a true Mother to me by being my advocate before His throne. O Refuge of Sinners and Hope of Hopeless, to whom shall I turn if not you?

Obtain for me, then, O Mother of Hope, the grace of true sorrow for my sins, the gift of perfect resignation to God’s Holy Will, and the courage to take up my cross and follow Jesus.

But above all I pray, O dearest Mother, that through your most powerful intercession, my heart may be filled with Holy Hope, so that in life’s darkest hour I may never fail to trust in God my Saviour, but by walking in the way of His commandments I may merit to be united with Him, and with you in the eternal joys of Heaven. Amen.

Today, October 1, we celebrate the FEAST of St. THERESE of the CHILD JESUS

Prayer:

🌹O little St. Theresa of the Child Jesus, who during your short life on earth became a mirror of angelic purity, of love strong as death, and of wholehearted abandonment to God, now that you rejoice in the reward of your virtues, cast a glance of pity on me as I leave all things in your hands.

🌹Make my troubles your own - speak a word for me to our Lady Immaculate, whose flower of special love you were - to that Queen of heaven 'who smiled on you at the dawn of life.

🌹Beg her as the Queen of the heart of Jesus to obtain for me by her powerful intercession, the grace I yearn for so ardently at this moment, and that she join with it a blessing that may strengthen me during life.

🌹Defend me at the hour of death, and lead me straight on to a happy eternity. Amen.

Feast Day of the HOLY ARCHANGELS

Angels are messengers from God. Three of the special messengers mentioned in the Bible are the archangels Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael. The names of each of these archangels tell us about the work God gave them to do.

MICHAEL’s name means “who is like God.” God gave Michael the responsibility of protecting us as God protects us.

GABRIEL’s name means “hero of God.” Gabriel is God’s hero because he communicates God’s message to people. We remember Gabriel best for being the angel who announced to Mary that she would be the mother of God’s only Son.

RAPHAEL’s name means “God has healed.” In the Bible, Raphael heals a blind man and is said to have stirred the water in a pool where Jesus healed a paralyzed man.

On the feast day of the archangels, we remember that God’s messengers guide us in our journey to everlasting life with our Father. We can pray to Michael when we face temptation. We can ask to Gabriel to help us say “yes” to God as Mary did so many years ago. We can pray to Raphael when we are ill or know someone who is in need of healing.

We honor the archangels as saints. They remind us that God is always with us and that God loves so much about us that he gives us special helpers to light and guide us to him.

PRAYER ON THE FEAST OF THE ARCHANGELS
Oh Heavenly Father, you have given us the powerful Archangels St. Michael, St. Gabriel and St. Raphael, to assist us during our pilgrimage on earth.

Your celestial messengers, the archangels fought against Satan and all his evil angels, defending all your chosen ones. St. Michael, the protector of all humanity, has saved us and protected us from the snares of the devil.

St. Gabriel announced to Zachariah the forthcoming birth of John the Baptist, and to Mary, the birth of Jesus. His greeting to the Virgin, “Hail, full of grace,” is how we venerate the Virgin Mother even today.

St. Raphael is the archangel who took care of Tobias on his journey and aids in healing and recovery of our bodies and spirits.

On this day, when we celebrate the feast of these pure, spiritual and immortal beings, the highest in the order of the multitude of angels, we implore Saint Michael our protector; to aid and fight for all our loved ones, and protect us from danger.

We pray to Saint Gabriel, the messenger of the Good News, to help us clearly hear Your voice and to teach us the truth. Saint Raphael, the healing angel, we ask to lift up our petitions for healing to Your throne of grace and deliver back to us the gift of recovery.

Help us, O Lord, to realize more fully the reality of the powerful Archangels and their desire to serve us.

Holy Archangels, St. Michael, St. Gabriel and St. Raphael, surround us with your protection and pray for our special needs as we journey towards the heavenly Kingdom which is filled with the voices of praise and worship of our Glorious God by the vast choirs of angels. Amen.

O pinakamatamis na Hesus Nazareno, Aking Diyos at Manunubos, na tinahak ang daan patungo sa Kalbaryo na may bigat ng krus sa iyong mga balikat: tingnan mo ako na isang makasalanan na ngayon ay nagbibigay papuri sa Iyong mga pagdurusa. Nagpapasalamat din ako sa Iyo sa pagligtas sa akin sa pamamagitan ng iyong matamis na pagtanggap sa mga pagdurusa sa krus.

Patawarin mo ako sa aking mga kasalanan, O Mabuting Hesus. Kinikilala ko ang aking mga kahinaan at nagtitiwala ako na mula sa walang hangganang awa ay huhugasan Mo ng Iyong dugo ang aking mga kasalanang hindi masusukat. Mahal kita higit sa lahat ng bagay, at nangangako akong magiging tapat sa Iyong mga utos hanggang sa oras ng aking kamatayan.

Today we celebrate the life and legacy of St. Padre Pio, a humble servant of God, known for his deep spirituality, miracles, and powerful intercession.

May we be inspired by his unwavering faith, his call to "Pray, hope, and don't worry," and his love for the Eucharist and the confessional.

PRAYER:
Gracious God, You generously blessed Your servant, Padre Pio, with the gifts of the Spirit. You marked his body with the five wounds of Christ Crucified, as a powerful witness to the saving Passion and Death of Your Son, and as a stirring inspiration to many people of Your infinite mercy, forgiveness and love.

In the confessional, Padre Pio labored endlessly for the salvation of souls. Through his prayerful intercession, many who suffered were healed of sickness and disease. Endowed with the gift of discernment, he could read people's hearts. From the blood of his wounds came a perfumed fragrance, a special sign of Your Holy Presence. With dignity and intense devotion, he celebrated daily Mass, inviting countless men and women to a greater union with Jesus Christ, in the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist.

Through the intercession of Saint Pio, I confidently beseech You to grant me the grace of (here state your petition). Help me to imitate his example of prayerful holiness and compassion, so that I, too, may faithfully follow the Risen Lord, and one day rejoice in the Kingdom, where You live and reign forever and ever. September 8 is the Feast of the Nativity of Mary, a perfect day to entrust our lives to her.

PRAYER:
Impart to your servants, we pray, O Lord, the gift of heavenly grace, that the feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin may bring deeper peace to those for whom the birth of her Son was the dawning of salvation.
