Silent years...

Silent years are those years when nothing special seems to be happening. There were no any news to excite you. No events that make you feel hopeful. Years when God doesn't seem to hear your prayers.

Abraham experienced those silent years when he waited 25 years for Isaac. Joseph, when he waited 13 years to be vindicated. Jesus, when He waited 30 years to fulfill His purpose in life. We all experience silent years.

But one important thing about it is that those silent years are not wasted years. Those silent years are actually the years when God is preparing us for our God given destiny. Those silent years are the years when God builds our character and prepares our hearts for our greatest blessings.

Silent years are not wasted years.

So, whenever you feel like you are in those silent years or probably "silent months" where the previous months of this year seems to be so quiet, keep being faithful to the One who is faithful to you. He is faithful to His words. He is faithful to His promises. And there is grace for you through the years, even in those silent years.
