'KONTING TIYAGA LANG'

To claim their scholarship grants for the first semester this school year, qualified scholars lined up at the Regional Evacuation Center, Malolos, Bulacan, today December 1.

The scholars are required to bring their Certificate of Registration (COR) from their current school or university, School Identification Card (ID), and social case study for validation. The social case study forms can be acquired at the said place, and be verified by authorities in the Civil Social Welfare Development Office (CSWDO), at the New Malolos City Hall.

Meanwhile, if the recipient is unavailable, they can provide an authorization letter attached with a copy of their valid or school ID and their signature for someone who will claim the grant on their behalf.

The schedule for claiming the cash aid started on November 29 and will last until December 4, 2022, according to Malolos Information Office.

It’s Bonifacio Day!

Today, November 30, marks the birth anniversary of one of the country’s greatest heroes G*t. Andres Bonifacio. He penned the poem ‘Pag-ibig sa Tinubuang Lupa’ which paved the way in exhorting Filipinos to join the call to independence from the Spanish colonization.

He played a crucial role in awakening the hearts of the Filipinos and is considered as the "Father of the Philippine Revolution against Spanish Colonization".

Bonifacio would be 159 years old today.
