‼️Season 6 Continues: Shaking Off Holiday Hangovers

As the New Year rolls in, the court heats up, and the waistlines slim down—it's time to shed the holiday pounds and get back to serious ball. Season 6 is in full swing, and January is already serving up drama, and surprises.

January 6: New Year, Same Struggles for 5J

Dulfo’s Clan kicked off the new year in fiery form, handing 5J yet another bruising loss, 107-90. Rumor has it, 5J's playbook now includes "How Not to Lose 101," but ex*****on remains a work in progress.

Meanwhile, Team Gold’s undefeated streak in 2024 couldn’t survive 2025 for long. Team BZ snapped their golden run, pulling off a stunning victory and sharing the top spot in the standings. Team Gold now has something to polish other than their egos.

January 8: Construction Crew Builds Wins, 5J Builds... Character?

Amanhuray Construction showed they’re not just good with bricks—they’re lethal with buckets, deconstructing KCafe Borongan in a tightly contested 108-102 game. That’s three straight wins for the team, proving they’re building momentum as fast as a rush-hour overpass.

On the flip side, 5J might need some renovation of their own after another close-but-no-cigar game against Team Building. A heartbreaking 82-79 loss marks their back-to-back defeat in 2025. Maybe they should try building some wins next time?

January 10: Friday Fiascos

In the most bizarre twist of the week, ARD was handed a victory by default when the Red Warriors failed to show up—apparently still vacationing on an extended siesta. Word of advice to the Warriors: a team needs players to, well, play.

Later that evening, Dulfo’s Clan took the court again and made quick work of DGM Squad. It seems DGM’s team captain wasn’t just carrying the team metaphorically—holiday weight had his shoulders working overtime, as his squad struggled to hit anything other than the buffet. Dulfo’s Clan cruised to a 91-79 win.
