After the announcement of massive layoffs, I recalled a news headline from 2014 when the Nintendo CEO and executives voluntarily reduced their pay to compensate for the losses resulting from their decisions.

Contrast that with the present scenario, where upper management receives pay raises while simultaneously laying off employees. Seeing such widespread layoffs in the gaming industry is truly disheartening.

Currently working on the "Equipment system" this additional tool for the mech's survival.

It's been a while here is some update.
The destruction system is way more chaotic and messy.

Before the debris from the destruction spawns below the structure, and because of this the rubble is perfectly lined up.

The flying debris can cause the rubble to scatter making it more messy and chaotic.

Over the past weeks, I've been busy designing mechs for the two factions. The advantage of game art design is that I don't rely on textures;
I can essentially kitbash an asset or use a basic shape to create a unique mech design.
However, a drawback is that randomly placing shapes, might end up looking the same for both factions.

One of the challenges I face in mech design is creating a recognizable silhouette for each of the two factions.

I'm still iterating on the designs, so it might take some time.

My design concept right now is as follows:
Iron Dawn = 'It looks like a BattleTech or a tank'
FWA = 'Rounded and out of proportion'
