Today, August 12, marks the international youth day celebration as mandated by Section 30 of Republic Act No. 10742, the Sanggunian Kabataan Reform Act of 2015.

With the theme “From Clicks to Progress: Youth Digital Pathways for Sustainable Development ” the National Youth Commission (NYC) highlights the vital role of digitalization as this helps in speeding up the progress of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Our youth plays an important role in our society. With this digital transformation, they are emerging as the driving force of innovation and progress. And as youth leaders, let us remind ourselves to harness the power of technology to make our communities better.

Hello AUGUST! Hello International Youth Month!

The SK Federation - City of Baybay and City Youth Development Office proudly present the Linggo ng Kabataan 2024 activities. Join us as we celebrate our month long City-wide LNK with the theme: EMPOWERING THE YOUTH BY UNLEASHING THE BINAYBAYON POTENTIAL.

In this year's LNK celebration, we will be highlighting the potential of each Baybayanon Youth. LNK 2024 will unite youth leaders in the City of Baybay and this will be a platform where we have the chance to showcase our abilities, skills, talents and build a stronger network by meeting our fellow Baybayonon Kabataan.

The executive committee made sure that the activities we are carrying out is aligned with the National Youth Commission - LNK 2024 primer. We are very excited to see you all this August 24! Parade starts at 1:00 pm and we commence our opening with the Kabataan Festival of Festivals.

Local Baybay farmers are now equipped and ready to supply our own residents, driving prices down and increasing availability. 🌱 Check out this video of a typical harvest from Florante Narca's 1,000 sq.m pechay farm in Brgy. Kagumay, Baybay City! 🌿 He is a part of Batch 4 of Baybay City's Food Resiliency Program on Vegetable Production. His fresh produce is sold at the Baybay City Public Market, benefiting local consumers. This is a perfect example of Baybay's increased crop production directly impacting locals. 🚜✨
