Kudos to all our fellow Igorots who participated in the . For sure, your marvelous photos opened the minds of many of our kababayans who don't know us well.

My admiration also to our Congressman Maxi Dalog who quickly took action thereby causing the to look into this matter.

To my mind, this problem happens because of our unconscious bias, prejudice, ethnocentrism, racial ignorance, or racial insensitivity. I hope that will go beyond rectifying these prejudicial learning materials by fostering and ensuring commitment to diversity, multiculturalism and international-mindedness.

can do the above by regularly organizing and conducting diversity and multiculturalism seminars to teachers. More importantly, make these concepts part and parcel of its curriculum.

I hope that by doing these, this cycle of bigotry will stop.
