PCOL REYNANTE R REYES, Provincial Director of Bukidnon PPO reported to Regional Director PBGEN LAWRENCE B COOP regarding the stabbing incident at 3:10 PM of March 11, 2023 at Purok 9, Poblacion Sur, Don Carlos, Bukidnon inside the house of Bobong Jamisula.

The victim was identified as Kemberly Achas ,22 years old, 3rd year college student and a resident of aforesaid place, while the suspect was identified as Elson Erap Jamisula ,27 years old, jobless, live-in partner of the victim and a resident of the same place. Allegedly, the couple had a heated argument which resulted in the unfortunate incident. The suspect stabbed the victim with the used of broken glass hitting different parts of the victim’s body. Subsequently, the victim was rushed to Don Carlos Doctor’s Hospital, Don Carlos Bukidnon for medical treatment but pronounced dead on arrival by Dr. John Mark Reynold Balaba.

The suspect fled away after the incident but arrested by the responding PNP personnel.

The arrested suspect is now under the custody of Don Carlos MPS for proper disposition.
The Provincial Director expressed his compliment to the responding PNP personnel for a job well done and place the arrested person under police custody. The Provincial Director encouraged the public to be always vigilant in their surroundings and report immediately anyone acting in a suspicious manner, or if threatened in any way. He also stated that cooperation and support of community is the key to make Bukidnon a safe place to live and do business
