𝓗𝓸𝔀 𝓘 𝓑𝓮𝓬𝓪𝓶𝓮 𝓪 𝓥𝓲𝓻𝓽𝓾𝓪𝓵 𝓐𝓼𝓼𝓲𝓼𝓽𝓪𝓷𝓽

For over eight years, I was a Process Engineer in the manufacturing industry. While I was grateful for the company's continued support, including full salary during the pandemic, I'd long harbored a desire for something different. The pandemic intensified this yearning, pushing me to explore alternative career paths. Initially, I focused on online typing jobs but soon discovered the world of Virtual Assistants.

Intrigued by the potential, I immersed myself in research, eager to understand the role and its opportunities. However, I quickly realized that becoming a VA wasn't a one-size-fits-all endeavor. Like any profession, finding a niche was crucial. To build my skill set, I dedicated countless hours to online tutorials and training, experimenting with various tools and applications.

Lacking a laptop initially, I relied on a cousin's. I even asked if I could buy it from her. With determination, I crafted my resume, highlighting my newly acquired skills. The job hunt was challenging, as a newcomer with no VA experience, I faced numerous rejections. Undeterred, I persevered, refining my resume and honing my interview skills.

I'm eternally grateful for my first client, who gave me the chance to start as an Administrative Assistant and gradually progress to Social Media Management and E-commerce.

My advice to aspiring VAs is to invest time in understanding the role and finding your niche. Building a successful VA career requires dedication and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
