" Sta Clara Seventh-day Adventist Church Receives Blessing and Dedication as a Company Organization"

On October 28 2023, a special day unfolded as the Sta. Clara Seventh-day Adventist Church was officially dedicated and blessed as a Company Organization. The ceremony was led by Pastor Jasper Flores, the President of the South Central Luzon Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, and Pastor Presco Estrada, the Metro Batangas 1 District Pastor.

The entire Sabbath was filled with joyful testimonies, soul-lifting musical praises, and a bountiful feast of nutritious food, generously provided by the dedicated Brethren of Sta. Clara.

During the ceremony, Pastor Jasper Flores offered a heartfelt prayer for the 50 members of the Sta. Clara Congregation and its church officers, marking this significant milestone in their faith journey. This event was a true testament to the unity and spiritual growth within the church community.

"Day 131 | Feeding Ministry of Health on Wheels Nourishes Souls at Batangas Medical Center"

October 30, 2023-
In Batangas City, the Ministry of Health on Wheels and the Adventist Community Services joined hands at Batangas Medical Center. They served 130 people. Pastor John Paolo Roa shared hopeful messages from the Bible, reminding everyone to trust in God, who is a great healer. Sis. Mea Arago sang inspirational songs to comfort patients' companions at BATMC. It's heartwarming to see how sharing a meal can help us support one another. Special thanks to our kind sponsors. TITHES & OFFERINGS

What's the difference?

Tithe literally means TENTH in Hebrew. It's an act of faith of giving 10% of our income to our church.

We tithe not because God needs our money. We tithe to show our Gratefulness to Him for all that He gives to us. Its also our way of showing our trust to Him with regard to our lives, finances and everything that we need.

Do we need to give to the poor (offering) after we tithe?

According to Matthew chapter 25, whatever we do for the poor, we do it to God.

Personally, I think the 10% we tithe don't go entirely to the poor.

The church also use it for the maintenance of our churches, to feed our priests/pastors and other projects.

If your heart aches when you see the living condition of our needy brothers and sisters, then this is where the offering comes in- we use our money too to help change their lives.

In essence when it comes to our income, we tithe first and then help others. 🙏

The Man behind the Pulpit.

Habang nasa gitna ka ng lungkot,
pagtatanong, pighati at takot
Mayroong isang tao na nakaalalay para sayo,
mayroong isang taong nakaluhod sa likuran mo

habang hinihingi sa Panginoon na Mas patatagin ka
At mas palakasin ka pa.
Mayroong isang tao na nagsasabi sayo
Na "Kaya mo pa yan, Andito lang ako."

Maaring hindi mo pa nakikita o nararamdaman sa ngayon, pero lagi mong tatandaan na ang Leader mo especially ang Pastor mo ay laging nasa likod mo sa Gitna ng mga labang nilalabanan mo, ipinananalangin na sana mapagtagumpayan mo 'yang dinaranas mo ngayon.

Kaya kapag nagtagumpay ka at nakaalis ka sa gitna ng bagyo mo, 'wag na 'wag mong kakalimutang magpasalamat sa Leader at Pastor mo na laging nasa Likuran mo. Hindi lang sila basta nasa likuran ng pulpit nagbabahagi ng Mga Salita ng Diyos, nasa likuran mo din sila, sinasamahan ka sa bawat pagbagsak at pagtatagumpay mo.

Huwag lang tayong tumingin sa mga taong nasa harap natin, pagtuunan din natin ng pansing i-appreciate at i-acknowledge ang mga taong nananatili sa likod natin sa lahat ng labang meron tayo.

We’re delighted to present the leadership team who will spearhead the 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗿𝗼 𝗜𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 (MIM), a pivotal development following the reorganization of the South-Central Luzon Conference. The establishment of MIM shows that the work in the region is continuously growing. MIM will oversee the mission and ministry of the Seventh-day Adventist Church to grow and move forward in the provinces of Oriental Mindoro, Occidental Mindoro, and Lubang Island.
