Working together is succeeding together.
This has been evident in the success of Brigada Eskwela Kick-off Ceremony at Libjo National High School this morning, August 3, 2022 that was also aired via Facebook live. It became specially meaningful because of the presence of the significant people who have become partners of the school in providing a safe and conducive learning environment to the learners.
In her welcome remarks, Mrs. Rosalina Panganiban, District VII PSDS, accentuated the importance of the participation and engagement of the parents in the event. Meanwhile, Mr. Jereme Falcatan, the new school principal, shared his visions towards the success of Brigada Eskwela and offered gratitude to all the stakeholders especially the parents who have continuously supported the school's endeavors. Different stakeholders also attended the said event and gave their message to the school. They were Mr. Michael De Chavez from DC Industrial, Dr. Primo Anonuevo, San Isdiro Councilor-Education, Ms. Charie Credito-PSFI, Mr. Joseph Monleon, GPTA President, and Mrs. Thelma Alea, SGC President, who pledged to give their full support for the success of the activity and the future events of the school. In addition, Mr. Jerome De Guzman, the school's Brigada Eskwela Coordinator, introduced the Program BE SAFE and reoriented the parents and other participants on how they can help the school raise funds for the project and improve the school's facility to ensure the safety and security of the students in their return to the school this coming August 22.
Various performances from the alumni and teachers were also showcased in the program.
The hosts of the event, Mr. Mark John Buenvenida and Mrs. Annalyn Panganiban, were able to interview some stakeholders including parents, teachers, and students about their views on brigada. The activity ended with the Pledge of Commitment and photo opportunity with the stakeholders.
