Good news!

A cutting-edge motorsports facility will be developed in Morong, Rizal for an investment of PHP 200 Million. This is expected to boost tourism in Morong.

Spanning 4 hectares, it includes a 1.6km racing track with 10 turns and varying elevations. Targeted at local enthusiasts, this initiative is designed to stimulate economic development and employment opportunities. The groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled today, and the project is anticipated to be finished by 2026.

Noong Hulyo ng kasalukuyang taon nang aprubahan ng Senado ang Senate Bill No. 2555, na iniakda ni Sen. JV Ejercito at Sen. Francis Tolentino, na nag-aamiyenda sa Republic Act 11235 o Motorcycle Crime Prevention Act.

“Ako ay lubos na nagpapasalamat kay Cong. Romeo Acop, Chairman ng Commitee on Transportation ng House of Representatives dahil naipasa na rin nila ang “Amendments to the Motorcycle Crime Prevention Act” o ang Doble Plaka law,” sabi ni Ejercito sa kanyang post sa social media.

“Sa wakas ay malapit ng matapos ang problema ng riding community,” aniya.

Kabilang sa mga mahahalagang bahagi ng Amended Doble Plaka Law ay ang paggamit ng RFID sticker sa harapang bahagi ng motorsiklo imbes na decals o license plate na gawa sa yero.

Ibinaba rin ang multa sa mga motorcycle owners na mabibigong irehistro ang kanilang nabiling unit bago ang itinakdang deadline sa ilalim ng naturang panukala.
