Two Person Arrested for Violation of 10883 and RA 9165
Bansalan, Davao del Sur โ Drug Enforcement Unit of Bansalan Municipal Police Station personnel were approached by the victim alias Winwin, 23 years old, male, single, college student, residing at Purok Malipayon, Carnation St., Brgy Pob. Dos, Bansalan. Monterde reported that his single motorcycle had been stolen by unidentified male and female individuals and requested police assistance. Immediately, personnel led by PLT REYNAN D NAVARRO, Operation Officer under the direct supervision of PMAJ DARRYL FRANCIS RAMOS, Acting COP, initiated a hot pursuit operation for possible recovery of the stolen motorcycle. The operation resulted in the successful of two arrested persons identified as alias Abs, 28 y.o, collector, male, married, and resident of Calilic, Babak District, IGACOS, Davao del Norte; together with his back rider alias Madsla, 15 y.o, female, single, and a resident of Brgy Calilic, Babak District, IGACOS, Davao del Norte who were found in possession of the stolen motorcycle.
Recovered pieces of evidence during the operation were the following to wit:
a. one (1) unit Kawasaki KLX 150, without side car, color lime.(stolen motorcycle)
b. Two (2) small heat sealed containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu (possession item) and
c. Assorted Tools;
The case for violation of RA 10883, otherwise known as the "New Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016" and RA 9165 otherwise known as the โComprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are now being prepared and the suspect will be in temporary police custody at Bansalan Municipal Police Station while preparing the pertinent documents for the filing of appropriate charges.
