Operation: Save The Earth

Sci-Math Month has started and ended with a bang. Students prepared their Chants, Dances and Academic Performances to win competitions.

This Sci-Math year awares us about climate change and global warning which can lead into another disaster into another. We need to be cautious on what we do to our planet as we might make it worse.

Games were held which students really enjoyed with, Math Wizard, DaMath, Quiz Bee, Modern Dance, Jazz Chant, Poster-Slogan, Amazing race and Trashion.

SAVE THE EARTH, IT IS OUR PLANET!

Morning Dew embraces EEEYYdditional staffers

School paper org, Morning Dew, welcomes new journalists to work for the publication earlier today through a meeting held in the Grade-11 Bravery classroom [thanks to the generous adviser.]

It's a big eeeyy to the org's growing number given that only a few have interest to the field.

Last year, there were only 15 workers and members of the group and it has gone up today to 60 members.

Journalism is not only for the journalistically skilled, but also for those who have interest and passion to learn it even with zero experience or knowledge to the field.

It's learnable, but only for those who have the willingness to learn it.

Staffers will now journey-lize AY 2024-2025.

Commemorating ComFUNionship

International Friendship Day was approved by the United Nations in 2011, officially deeming it as an event that reminds us of the importance of friendship and peace.

This holiday is dedicated to spreading love, peace, and acceptance of others in the midst of all calamities.

As Steven Universe says, "There's nothing that's worth more than peace and love on the planet earth."

On a final note, no matter what culture, country, race, or gender, give your friends a big hug and never forget to show your gratitude!

Fresh Start: MOIST Welcomes the Students for a New Academic Year

Krrng... Krrng...

Let's set our alarms as the most awaited day has to come; the first day of school.

On July 29, 2024, students gathered at the RPV Gym to celebrate the opening of the academic year 2024-2025.

In the afternoon, students attended the orientation, to be familiar around the campus and to be aware of the rules and regulations that needed to be followed.

It also teaches us to surpass our dreams, solve what problems may occur and lead an excellent future.

"To leave no one behind, count everyone"

World Population Day, observed annually on July 11th, is a significant event aimed at raising awareness about global population issues.

The event was established by the Governing Council of the United Nations Development Programme in 1989.

According to the United Nations: โ€œOver the past 30 years, weโ€™ve improved how we collect and use population data, leading to better health care and rights. However, marginalized communities are still underrepresented. This World Population Day, we focus on ensuring all groups are counted and visible, highlighting the importance of inclusive data systems to advance progress for everyone. Everyone counts, and our collective progress depends on capturing the full diversity of humanity.โ€

As the world continues to face the challenges of a rapidly growing population, this day serves as a crucial reminder of the need to address and manage demographic changes effectively.

Today is the International Day in Support of Victims of Torture.

The United Nations International Day in Support of Victims of Torture is an international observance held annually on June 26 to speak out against the crime of torture and to honor and support victims and survivors throughout the world.

"This is a day on which we pay our respects to those who have endured the unimaginable. This is an occasion for the world to speak up against the unspeakable. It is long overdue that a day be dedicated to remembering and supporting the many victims and survivors of torture around the world."

โ€” Former United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan, 1998

Let us give our thoughts and attention today, in order to support the people who are victims of torture. Let us give them the courage to live freely and to stand up for themselves. To help them when they are in need, to spread awareness of their suffering, and to provide them with what we all need, to be acknowledged and loved.
