The number of official working hours for government officials will be five hours per day, starting from 9am to 2pm. It is permissible — provided work requirements are met — that the employee come in by maximum 10am, provided the employee completes the official working hours (five hours).
Qatar’s Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs HE Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Sulaiti issued a circular on Monday specifying the working hours of ministries, government agencies, public bodies and institutions during the Holy month of Ramadan.
