Our Story
Open Heaven Recording Studio started in Baguio City in 2011 with its owner, Shadiel Chan, starting his interest in producing music. The studio started with a Macbook Pro, an Alesis keyboard controller, a Mackie audio interface and an electric guitar. With these equipments at hand, Shad produced his first song entitled ‘This is My Life.’
In 2014, while still studying in Saint Louis University, he made a friend named Mark Malones and together produced their first album entitled ‘Pointing at Stars’ under the band name ‘Open Heaven.’ Within those three years, he was able to gather experience in proper sound recording, mixing and mastering.
Today, the Open Heaven Recording Studio has made a name for itself and has become the best recording studio in Baguio City. The studio has produced music for artists like Keiko Necesario, EJ De Perio, Cup of Joe and Ceasar Salcedo to name a few. The studio caters to song production, music arranging, audiobook recording, mixing, mastering and many more!
In the eight years of the studio's service, Open Heaven has upgraded its equipment and is well equipped to serve your audio production needs, whatever it may be. We look forward to working with you on your next production!
