December 19, 2024 – The Supreme Secondary Learners Government (SSLG) spearheaded a heartwarming Book and Toy Drive at BECS, benefiting 55 kindergarten pupils under the guidance of teachers Ms. Hazel Villarico and Mr. Gerald Benitez.

The activity, one of the SSLG’s mandated projects, aimed to provide enriching resources to young learners, fostering their imagination, creativity, and overall development.

The kindergarten pupils excitedly explored the donated items, with many diving into colorful storybooks and interactive toys. Teachers expressed gratitude for the support, emphasizing how these resources would make learning more engaging for their students.

The SSLG's commitment to meaningful projects like this reinforces their role in nurturing not only leadership among secondary learners but also a sense of compassion and community service.

𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗛𝗦 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 "𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗼" 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺

READ | In the true spirit of giving, Hacienda-Intal National High School launched its "Handog Pamasko" program this December, reaching out to less fortunate students with holiday grocery packages.

The initiative, spearheaded by the school administration, faculty, and staff, aims to bring joy and relief to families who face financial challenges during the holiday season. The program reflects the school’s commitment to not only nurturing academic excellence but also fostering compassion and solidarity within the community.

Mr. Bonifacio Duldulao, school principal, shared the inspiration behind the program:
"We recognize that the holidays can be a difficult time for some of our students and their families. Through 'Handog Pamasko,' we want to remind them that they are not alone and that our school is here to support them beyond the classroom."

The program was made possible through donations from teachers and staff, supplemented by income from the school canteen.

Hacienda-Intal National High School hopes to continue the "Handog Pamasko" program in the coming years, further strengthening its role as a beacon of community engagement and care.

As the season of giving continues, the school invites others to join hands in making the holidays brighter for those in need, reminding everyone of the true essence of Christmas—love and generosity.

𝙍𝙀𝘼𝘿 | The talented young journalists of Hacienda-Intal National High School showcased their writing, photography, and video production prowess during the recent CD 1 Journalism Elimination held in Lal-lo National High School, Lal-lo, Cagayan. Several outstanding students secured their spots as qualifiers for the Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC), bringing pride to the school.

𝗧𝗢𝗗𝗔𝗬 | In response to Regional Memorandum 441 s. 2024, Hacienda Intal National High School (HINHS), under the leadership of School Principal Mr. Bonifacio R. Duldulao, conducted a School-Based Learning Action Cell (SLAC) session on Friday, November 29. The session aimed to support teacher development through the introduction of Project BANGON ARaL (Building Academic Nurturing Goals for Optimal Norms in Achieving Recovery and Learning).

The SLAC session tackled crucial topics, including the introduction of Project BANGON ARaL and its goals to address learning recovery, crafting catch-up plans to address least-mastered competencies among students, an overview of the Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM) for flexible and inclusive education, the implementation of the Dropout Reduction Program (DORP) Plan, and a review of the Code of Ethics for Professional Teachers.

The session featured distinguished resource persons, including Mr. German Soriano, Mrs. Alma Rowena Quebral, Mrs. Jessie L. Miguel, and Mr. Bonifacio R. Duldulao, who shared valuable insights and facilitated discussions.

Teachers actively participated in the session, reflecting on strategies to enhance instructional delivery and foster academic recovery.

Mr. Duldulao emphasized the importance of collaborative professional development, stating, “This SLAC session is a testament to our commitment to nurturing effective teaching practices and ensuring no learner is left behind.”

The successful implementation of the SLAC session marks a significant step towards achieving the goals of Project BANGON ARaL, equipping educators with the tools to address current educational challenges.

Due to the raising of Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal Nos. 1, 2 and 3 in most areas of Luzon in view of the persistent intense rainfall and strong winds brought about by Severe Tropical Storm “Kristine,” to further aid in the rescue, relief, and recovery efforts of the government, and upon the recommendation of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, work in government offices and classes at all levels in Luzon are hereby suspended on 25 October 2024.

​Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, preparedness/response to disasters and calamities, and/or the performance of other vital services are hereby directed to continue their operations and render the necessary services.

The localized cancellation or suspension of classes and/or work in government offices in other areas may be implemented by their respective Local Chief Executives, pursuant to relevant laws, rules and regulations.

​The suspension of work for private companies and offices is left to the discretion of their respective heads.

Lasam, Cagayan – In a remarkable debut, Hacienda-Intal National High School student-researchers secured 3rd place in the Robotics Team Category of the Science Investigatory Project competition during the Division Science and Technology Fair 2024, held at Western Cagayan School of Arts and Trades in Lasam, Cagayan.

This marks the first time HINHS participated in the prestigious event, making their accomplishment even more significant.

The team, composed of researchers Reham Lei Bunuan, Precious Rica Abalos, and Ryan Jake Tamayo, showcased an innovative project that earned praise from the panel of judges.

Under the guidance of their coach, Vesna Lyka Calixto, the students demonstrated an exceptional understanding of their research, which contributed to their success.

Competing against different participants from various schools across the division, HINHS made a lasting impression on their inaugural appearance at the fair.

The event provided a platform for talented young researchers to present their scientific work and compete in various categories.

The outstanding performance of HINHS not only reflects the hard work and dedication of the students and their coach but also underscores the school's commitment to fostering scientific inquiry and innovation, paving the way for future achievements.

Hacienda-Intal National High School Celebrates Growth in Municipal Science and Technology Fair: Doubles Division Qualifiers

Hacienda-Intal National High School (HINHS) continues to elevate its presence in the Municipal Science and Technology Fair, with a significant achievement this year—doubling its division qualifiers. Grade 8 students Eloisa Lioad and Eliah Sandra Dumayag secured 1st and 2nd places, respectively, earning spots as division qualifiers. This is a notable improvement from last year’s performance, when the school had only one qualifier.

Grade 8 Division Qualifiers:
1st Place: Eloisa Lioad (Division Qualifier)
2nd Place: Eliah Sandra Dumayag (Division Qualifier)

In addition to the division qualifiers, other participants also gave strong performances, reflecting the school’s growing competency in science and technology.
