It's started with questions.

Ano ba ang niche ko? Anong skill ba ang pwede kong ma offer when it comes to freelancing?

Not knowing na I already had my skills pero hindi ako aware. Then an opportunity came for me to see those skills na kaylangan lang pala ma enhance. Taking the course and doing some activities enhanced my confidence in pursuing my dream of being a part of the Virtual Assistant world.

Finally, I am now a certified Social Media Manager. It’s not easy, but with perseverance and determination, I did it! I know this will not be easy, but I still hope for the best.

To all inspiring ones out there, don’t be afraid to be out of your comfort zone. Don’t let your dream be just a dream. Take your first step to make it happen. Aja!

My Virtual Assistant Journey

I started as a "taga sana all" in every success story I read in the FHMoms community. This was early 2023, and at that time, I was a silent reader and a silent dreamer. As a stay-at-home mom, my eagerness to earn my own money and help my family financially was very high. I had been selling "kakanin" for a long time, but I knew that it wasn’t enough. That’s why I decided to explore the world of virtual assistance.

I began joining free webinars hosted by Mommy MK Bertulfo, the founder of the FHMoms Community, and I applied to various platforms, but sadly, I didn’t get any opportunities at first. I never gave up, and finally, a significant opportunity came my way as a Social Media Management and Marketing Scholar. I consider this already a success because I know it will open many doors for me to land my first client.

It's a bit challenging because I need to attend to the needs of the whole household while doing my online school but with a positive mindset, I know I can do it and I'm not allowing negativity to distract me.

To all the moms out there who share the same goals as I do (I know we are many), never stop pursuing your dreams until you achieve them. Being a stay-at-home mom is not a dead end for us. Stand up and show the world what you can do! And of course, don’t forget to pray because we need guidance from God in our journey.

Evil Mom

Nakaka durog ng puso makabasa ng ganitong klase ng balita. Isang 32 years old na makasariling ina ang iniwan ang kanyang 16-month-old na baby sa loob ng isang playpen, sa loob ng 10 days ng mag isa para mag bakasyon. 😭

Namatay ang baby dahil sa matinding gutom at dehydration na balot ng sarili nyang dumi at ihi. Ang sabi inabutan pa daw ng ina na humihinga pa ang baby pero hindi na rin kinayang ma survive ito. 😭💔

Nangyari ito last June 2023 sa Cleveland, Ohio at ngayon na hatulan ang ina ng bata ng guilty sa pag patay sa kanyang anak. Ang ina ng bata ay hinatulang makulong ng pang habang buhay dahil sa kapabayaang kanyang ginawa. 🧑‍⚖️

Ayon sa balita may problema daw sa pag iisip ang ina ni baby. Sabi ng mga kapitbahay na madalas daw talaga nya iwan mag isa yung baby kahit pa mag volunteer daw sila na bantayan si baby, ayaw daw pumayag nung ina at mas pinipili nyang iwan mag isa ang sanggol.

Iniisip ko lang kung bakit walang ginawa yung kapitbahay sa loob ng 10 days, for sure naririnig nila yung iyak ni baby. Sana na isip nilang mag usisa at i-check kung ano ba nangyayari. 💔😥

- Wag mo ng subukan!
- Hindi mo kakayanin!
- Tingnan mo mga baby picture nya nung hindi pa sya nag ta-transform bilang dinosaur pampakalma.
- Sumigaw at umiyak kasama nya. 😅

Trying to be patient with a little version of impatient you. 😆

We can't remove screen time totally, but we can lessen it. Excessive screen time may affect kid's behavior and may cause speech delay for younger ones, eyesight problems, and some social skills issues.

Ang pangit tingnan noh? Yan ang naramdaman ko after seeing the video. Sa panahong kinakain na tayo ng smart phones, please don't forget that our kids need us not only physically but also mentally present. I'm one of the guilty mama's. 🥺
