Late-night action brought heated rallies to the matches, as four out of eight participating teams advanced to the quarterfinals following fierce elimination rounds since Monday, Nov.18 in a competitive showdown at the College Covered Court.

Day 4 of the competition brawled a match between Team Blue and Team Black with the former winning by service ace, 2-1; whereas, Team White triumphed over Team St. Jo, 2-1.

Tallying the overall standings, Team White and Team Blue will go head-to-head against Team CECS and Team CBA, respectively, followed by the battle for third and championships at the USLS Coliseum on Nov. 23.

Despite the evening quiet, the Upper Grades Covered Court resounded with dunks and dribbles as the student and faculty teams jousted in the semifinal matches, Nov. 21.

The first game had Team Bre thrash Team Lobaton with 68-52, while Team Consi decimated Team Co**ha in the second game with the victors earning twice the points of their opponents, 92-46.

A final match between the two winning teams will be held this coming Saturday, Nov. 23, at the Coliseum.

This was how Mocha Venti the Shih Tzu expressed her enthusiasm after winning the championship and Best in Costume award in the cosplay competition solo category during the " : A Pet’s Day Out” at the Miguel Lobby.

Following her were Elsa the Pomeranian, Daijin the Persian, Cookies the Dachshund, and Cooper the Corgi who placed first, second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively.

Moreover, the event also featured a pet parade around the campus and parlor games with sacks of dog food as prizes.

During the said debate finals, team Astra competed with team TBA, placing the latter on 1st runner-up, while team Veritas bagged the 2nd runner-up title.

Moreover, Paul Serrano nabbed the special award for Best Speaker while Raphaelo Muyco claimed the Best Debater award.
