"I think if I were to have any political red flags, if you could consider it [as] one, I think it would be trying to please everybody. At some point, I see it as a red flag because it is not possible to please everybody; everybody is not always going to like you as a person or as a candidate. But I guess itβs also a green flag in [a] sense that I see everybodyβs needs and [Iβm] trying to meet them halfway. So, I guess if people would see it as a red flag, then donβt vote for me, but rest assured that if you see it as a green flag, you will be in good hands because I will try to see every need that you possibly have, and be of service to you in any way I can."

"First and foremost, before moving on to the implementation stage of my platform, there is an assessment phase or gathering the data which is from the student nurses or from the student body to ensure that my platformsβthat the platforms of Team Catalyzeβaligns with their needs. So after that, we will be planning our calendar of activities with continuous meetings with my council members and constituents; we will now then have an event that is set for our student nurses. Right after that, there is also an action plan, or the implementation stage. Right after the implementation stage, we will be having our evaluation or feedbacking part after the said event has happened. And to ensure that we are meeting their needs, through the feedbacking with the council members first, I have my platform WeContrive, where there [are] town hall meetings not only for the nursing administration and our partner communities, but mostly centered on the student nurses. Through that, [...] we are able to know if their needs are aligned to our platforms or goal for the College of Nursing."

"I wouldn't say that any one of them really aligns with my leadership style because I would like to emphasize or bring up the situation of our economy, that corruption is a very rampant thing in our government here in the Philippines, and honestly there are lot of incompetent leaders currently in our country and maybe there is not one right now that I would like to align myself with or I could align myself with.
[Instead], I would just like to share my leadership style. As a student leader, I want to align all my goals for our student body. I'm here to serve. I'm not here for any personal gain, so I don't know what the current political leaders in the Philippines are really working for, [...] there are some that are working for the people, I know that. But my leadership style is all about pushing through with my platforms, communicating with my people, with the students, the CET college and voicing out their concerns with the admins and always being there for them in times of need [...] especially now with a lot of issues, with the heat, I know that when these issues arise, [that] is when I need to step up and be there for them."

"We would like to recognize the reality that leaders in times experience mental health crises. If this mental health crisis crosses the line of leadership, first we should recognize that we ourselves are also human. And second, [...] we should also recognize that, even though we recognize mental health, we should also not compromise the line of leadership; because we promised to be the leaders of our students in the first place. And in that, in not compromising leadership, we should have a system inside. For example in an organization [or] in the council, and in the society at large, if we have a system inside, we can manage to handle situations properly [...].
I would like to anchor it to my platform the βU-CAS: the United Collective and Streamline Leadershipβ. Because leaders are not just a single-person leadershipβit should be a collective leadership. As to what I say, [...] leaders should be maximized because if it is just the governor working in the council, then it will be a one-man leadership, and thatβs a dictator one. But if it is collective and gathers all the power of all other leaders, it becomes a collective one, a streamlined one. And if we streamline leadership under the College of Arts and Sciences, we also maximize leaders because these leaders also have the capacity to lead on their own.
And again, we go back to the system. And the system, I would like to create that. There should be a delegation of tasks under the council, and there are all other leaders [...] we have the [class] mayors. We donβt just have the batch head, we have the [class] mayors to maximize. When these things [are] maximized, when these things are being used by our leaders and the upper hand, [we] can build a system [where] we are also creating more leaders, inspiring more leaders. On that one, we [also] manage to build a council that is not just a collective, but a safe space for everyone. Where leaders can participate, where leaders can brin

"I think in [YAL] CBA in general, the biggest problem [...] although advantage man siya namon, is [the] population. So reach is a really hard thing to do, thatβs why with my platforms this year, Iβm using Eagleβs Express which is a platform aimed to deliver every opportunity in front of you so i-maximize gid na namon si council-student relationship and weβll also be maximizing connectivity. So with connectivity [...] what we will do is produce physical [pubmats]. [...]
Mostly ang aton nga pubmats and all is focused online but we forget to do it physically so [...] may ara kami tuod bulletin board but indi siya super maximized. So [...] one of the things that I would like to do is also maximize our physical bulletin board in order for us to address [concerns]. For example, may tryouts for Animolympics, mas easier and [more] approachable, and we'll also be maximizing the classrooms since may ara man da mga spare boards on the side. We can also maximize posting our pubmats there.
My other platform, Eagles Evolve, siyempre gatandog man siya sa diri. It aims to put the studentsβ holistic growth at the forefront. [...] because of that as well, isa ko na nga goal nga magaan highlight ang tanan nga Eagles, though hindi man na siya 100 percent matabo, but what I want to do is make sure nga makita gid nila tanan nga opportunity and to grow from thereβfrom those opportunities that we will be providing, and the offices as well, and the USG Executives will also be providing. So that way, everyone has an equal chance [...]. Kay ang problem gid namon is connectivity so strengthening our [communications] is the best way to do it. [...]
Kay kung magtownhall meetings, ang iban wala man ga-attend, at least ya kung mag-maximize kami bulletin board large enough, we could also put our transparency reports there for our treasurer. We could also post the pubmats of La Salle for hiring student assistance. We can also maximize it [...] for our personal nee

"I believe that the biggest lapse from the current administration right now that I wish to address in my term next year as the College of Arts and Sciences Governor is the broken trust of the students and of the other stakeholder relations of the College of Arts and Sciences. I really do believe that it is very important that we [get] to connect with the vital stakeholders within the College of Arts and Sciences, specifically the student body, the clubs, the alumni, and [the] CAS office itself.
When we [get] the chance to rebuild their trust, we will be able to implement our projects and other plans for the college because through their help, we will be able to maximize and materialize all the resources that we do have, and we can do betterβso much betterβwhen we [get] the chance to have them, or to do a project with them [collaboratively]. And I believe that before we can proceed [to] a successful project implementation, it is very important that we get to connect with them first, to rebuild the trust, and to align all the things that [are] needed for the college."

"I believe that the word βtrapoβ is quite grave to describe someone working as a student leader in university politics. However, if I will be able to describe that word to a certain student leader here in the university, that would be someone who is unable to be true to his or her words in doing the best that he or she can for the student body. Most especially if he or she made promises as to the platforms that [he or she] wants to do for the student body, then that for me is someone [who] is not a mark of a progressive, proactive, and accountable student leader because as a student government, we must be true to our words and be able to serve the student body with the best that we could."
