AKSYON DOREL AND KINO TIE THE KNOT

Amid the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the love story of journalist Aksyon Dorel Cabatu and Kino Tancinco began to unfold.

The couple tied the knot in an intimate Christian garden wedding at Palmas Del Mar Resort in Bacolod City yesterday, December 8, 2024.

The ceremony was attended by family, close friends, and principal sponsors.

Among the notable sponsors were Vice Governor Jeffrey Ferrer, Councilor Israel Salanga, and Aksyon Radyo Bacolod Station Manager Nona Magbanua.

Before exchanging vows, Dorel sang “Goodness of God,” expressing her gratitude for Kino and their journey together.

Kino proposed on June 21, 2023, during their 3rd anniversary as a couple, but Dorel set a few personal goals before saying “I do.”

One of her goals was to treat her parents to a vacation, which she fulfilled in March 2024 in Tagaytay.

She fulfilled her dream of traveling abroad with Kino in May 2024 when they explored Thailand.

“Out of all the blessings God has given me, having you in my life is what I treasure the most,” Dorel said in her vows, thanking Kino for his love and support.

Kino’s vows, delivered poetically in Hiligaynon, promised Dorel his unwavering love.

“Sugod subong, ikaw na ang ilaw sang kabuhi ko
Kag ang pagpalangga ko sa imo wala katapusan
Kag ikaw ang una kag ulihe sang akon kalibutan
Excited na ako sa kada adlaw, sa pagbutlak sang akon mata
Imo maanyag nga itsura ang una nga makita.” Kino said.

Kino and Dorel’s story is a testament that love will find a way when the time is right and with God’s blessing.
