Today has been nothing short of magical as I kick off my adventure here, meeting with two visa agencies to promote their services for expats like myself! ⁣
⁣
I was treated to a breathtaking view of Mount Kanlaon erupting in the distance. The serenity of the sunrise was a perfect start to my journey!⁣
⁣
After a thrilling flight, I stopped by a charming street corner café for a warm bowl of sakwate. This rich chocolate drink is a local favorite, and it truly hit the spot!⁣
⁣
My next stop was the historic Magellan’s Cross, a symbol of Cebu's deep-rooted history and culture. Erected in 1521 by Portuguese explorer Ferdinand Magellan, this iconic landmark represents the arrival of Christianity in the Philippines. It's a must-visit for anyone exploring the city!⁣
⁣
I wrapped up my day at the stunning Robinsons Galleria Mall, where the festive spirit is already in full swing! The mall is beautifully decorated for Christmas, providing the perfect backdrop for my visit to a visa consulting business. It's a wonderful place for both shopping and connecting with essential services for expats like us.⁣

After an incredible collaboration with Kumander Daot and some unexpected adventures because of Typhoon Kristine, I’m finally back in my beloved Bacolod City! ⁣
⁣
I took some time to catch up on everything and visited the Boss D Cacao Plantation. I'm thrilled to report that the seedlings are thriving! Just a little more work to do as I still need to plant another 250 of them. Fingers crossed that no more typhoons come our way! 😅⁣
⁣
Being stranded in Batangas City for a few days was quite the experience—I learned so much! But now, I'm eagerly looking forward to new journeys ahead. ⁣

I’ve always felt that if I were alive in the 16th century, I’d probably be right beside Magellan, exploring the world! 😆But for now, I’m just so happy to be back in Bacolod City—the City of Smiles! 😊⁣

After multiple visits to Batangas Port, the moment has finally arrived—I’m on my way to Roxas City! ⁣It’s been a journey filled with anticipation, and I can hardly contain my excitement. From the stunning views at the port to the vibrant atmosphere surrounding it, each visit has made me even more eager to explore what Roxas City has to offer. ⁣

𝐀 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞🌞⁣

Today feels like a completely different world compared to yesterday. The sun is shining, and all the rain and flooding have vanished, as if a giant switch flipped us into an alternate reality.⁣
⁣
However, this sudden change makes waiting for Starlite Ferries Inc to open their ticketing offices even more challenging. My go-to route is Batangas City to Roxas City, but I'm open to any ferry heading to Panay. Batangas to Caticlan or Iloilo could also work.⁣
⁣
I visited the ticketing office twice today and asked the security personnel if they had any updates, but unfortunately, they didn’t know much. This is one of the frustrating aspects of the Philippines after a natural disaster—there’s often chaos and uncertainty.⁣

If anyone has advice or suggestions on getting from Batangas to Panay, I would greatly appreciate your input! Please drop your thoughts in the comments below. Thank you!⁣
