Updi niyo kami sugod bwas Martes nga adlaw asta Biyernes.

Labaw gid ang Konsyumedor nga may ihibalo. Padayon kita sa panawagan sang mas barato kag matinlo nga kuryente.

NGAA MA COAL KAPA KON PWEDE MAN LANG RENEWABLE?

Sa masobra duwa ka centimos lamang nga deperensya sang bid price sang Coal kontra sa Renewable, paano gid abi gin evaluate sang CENECO Third Party Bids and Awards Committee (TPBAC) ngaa gin deklara nila nga lowest calculated and most responsive bid ang Coal nga kon isulod mo pa ang environmental cost sini sa aton palibot kag mga komunidad kag ang posible nga mataas nga presyo sang kuryente nga pwede ipas-on sini sa konsyumedor pamaagi sa kisami nga outages kag outages cost sini nga klase sang planta.

San Carlos needs your help!

Yesterday, since 4 PM, some areas in San Carlos City particularly in Brgy.1, Greenville Bato and portion of Medina, Brgy. Rizal were affected by massive flooding due to heavy rains.

Residents in the said areas were forced to evacuate, pleaded for help and rescue due to the heavy currents and fast water level rise.

Moreover, as one voice with nature, we continue our plea and cry to put an end to all destructive activities that are happening especially in the Northern Negros Natural Park.

As one Diocese of San Carlos, we are knocking in your generous hearts to have enough funds and in-kind donations to provide for our brothers and sisters affected by the flood.

Let us work hand in hand and instill the spirit of Ubuntu especially in times like this.

Stay vigilant and stay safe!

As global average temperatures continue to rise, there is a pressing need for a transition to clean energy. The Philippines must be taking the lead in this transition as a climate-vulnerable country, yet today our energy sector continues to depend mainly on coal and other fossil fuels.

Today’s Think About It Thursday gives an overview of the country’s renewable energy capital, Negros, and how, despite challenges, it could be the hopespot for the country's energy transformation.

Learn more by joining the webinar and publication launch of “Repower Negros: A Scoping Study of Negros Island’s Power Sector Transformation” this Friday, September 25 from 10:00 AM-12:00 NN.
