๐ˆ๐ ๐๐‡๐Ž๐“๐Ž๐’ | DACians celebrate VIP inspired and Degenderize Christmas Holiday Celebration at Don Honorio Ventura State University - Apalit Campus (DAC) on December 19, 2024.

The event featured different booths from student organizations in DAC. Also, performances of the DAC band and Da elite dance troupe were some of the highlights of the event.

Ariane J. Villanueva, an employee from the Bank of the Philippines (BPI), shared her knowledge about financial planning, particularly in saving and investing money to the students of Don Honorio Ventura State University - Apalit Campus (DAC) in a seminar hosted by BPI. The aforementioned seminar was held at the school library of DAC on December 12, 2024.

Furthermore, Maureen Joy Victoria, from Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) 2C, mentioned that through the seminar, she was encouraged to save and invest money, rather than spend it for unnecessary expenses.

Mark Dominic M. Casipit, Pastor, empowered the 3rd year Bachelor of Science in Hospitality management (BSHM) students in their leadership training and seminar led by BSHM 3C in cooperation with Junior Tourism and Hospitality Management Association of the Philippines - DHVSU Apalit Chapter (JTHMAP-DAC) at Don Honorio Ventura State University - Apalit Campus (DAC) held at the school library on December 10, 2024.

The seminar was titled, โ€œCultural Competence and Professional Excellence: Preparing Future Hospitality Professionals for a Diverse Workplace"

Casipit, together with Jeremiah D. Putong, Gabrielle Perico D, Manuel, and Dandave M. Garcia gave insights and shared knowledge regarding what leaders should be.

Furthermore, Casipit entails the essence of a true leader and what a leader should have.

Moreover, Enrico Jay Bacsa, student from the BSHM 3C expressed his experience from the seminar on how it helped him navigate the situations and how faith can greatly impact someoneโ€™s life.

DAC Men's Basketball Team's intramurals journey has come to an end after a close 54-55 score against College of Industrial Technology (CIT) during the semifinal round held at Dr. Ernesto T. Nicdao Sports Center in DHVSU Main Campus on December 9, 2024.

The whole team sees this yearโ€™s intramurals as a great experience where they learned a lot of things from the matches they had.

According to Yuri Masibac from the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM) 1C, one of the team members, he felt excited to represent the school.

Women's Mobile Legends Team from Don Honorio Ventura State University - Apalit Campus (DAC) bags gold after their final match against the College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA) with a score of 1-0. The event took place at the CEA building of DHVSU main campus | December 9, 2024.

The team took down all their opponents and remains undefeated since last year's intramurals season. They won against teams from Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC), College of Computing Studies (CCS), DHVSU-Candaba Campus (DCC), and College of Hospitality and Tourism Management (CHTM) in the pre-season. During the semi-finals and final round, they defeated the College of Social Sciences and Philosophy (CSSP) and College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA), hailing them as the Champion for the MLBB women's category.

Furthermore, Krizzy Kimberly Dungca, from the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) 2A, mentioned that she remained calm throughout their game and expressed how she felt successful because of those who support them.

The team was unable to make it to the semi-finals as the College of Education (COE) surpasses their record with a 3-0 standing during the elimination round on December 6, 2024 at the Bacolor Convention Center.

Women's Basketball Team consisting Ciara Mallari, Jie Ann Simon, Kyline Nicole Jones, Shiela Mae Sunga, Marie Mae Longakit, Charmel Galang, Mariane Manipon, Czarina Pangan, Elisha Jean Mesina, Lyn Chin Nucom, and Nicole Chua gave off a close match scoring 2-1 leading them to be on the top 2 on their elimination round final ranking.

Moreover, Jieann Simon, from the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM) 2C, and one of the players from the team mentioned her experience and the trust she has towards her teammates regardless of the situation.

Umanga from the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) 4A, and Menโ€™s ML Team Captain mentioned in an interview that he feels proud for doing their best despite not being able to win their match during the pre-elimination round. Umanga hopes for the next DAC Menโ€™s ML Team to bring home a medal for the next intramural season as he will be graduating next year.

DHVSU Apalit futsal team, which includes the players โ€“ Michael Angelo Oris, Reignmon Ignacio Dizon, John Anthony Malonzo Briones, Vince Mamaradlo, CJ Manabat, John Paul Duque, Jhon Erist Reyes Mamangun, Charles Marquez, Reyland Tiglao and EJ Q. Quiroz, demonstrated their impressive skills in a futsal game during the University Intramurals on December 5, 2024.

In an interview, Charles Marquez from the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) 2A, one of the players of DAC futsal team, admitted that lack of preparation caused him to feel mixed emotions. Still, he enjoyed the entire game despite having leg injuries.

DHVSU Apalit chess womenโ€™s team including Ericka Mae R. Silvestre, Samina L. Dela Cruz, and Frency Lorin A. Bonifacio showed determination and strategic thinking as they competed in the chess tournament during the University Intramurals at the University Hostel on December 5, 2024.

One of the players, Ericka Mae R. Silvestre from the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology(BSIT) 3B, was able to reach the semi-finals, however, lost the game.

Moreover, Silvestre mentioned that despite the result, it brought her excitement, joy, and pride.
