This Mother’s Day, it is easy to notice what the pandemic has taken from us, but, although not evident, it offers everyone a precious gift; time.

Due to the pandemic, many of us are staying at home with our families. It afforded us extra time to spend with the people we cherish most.

Today, let's pay back all the many ways our heroic mothers gave their time to us. How they tended to us when we were sick, accompanied us to school, made us delicious dinners, gave us emotional support, hugged us, put us on their laps while telling us fascinating stories, and kissed our cheeks before bedtime.

What makes them true heroes is how they offered all this to us unconditionally and absolutely free. They have sacrificed so much for us to be successful and live comfortable lives.

The world may now feel like a difficult place to live in, but all we need is a hug from our mother for everything to be fine.
