'1960's People of Pampanga' — A Midjourney AI Photo-Series (1/3)

Using the new Midjourney technology.

I am thrilled to share with you these series of photos of the "People of Pampanga," which features fictional AI portraits of individuals from the beautiful province in the Philippines.

While I enjoy playing and trying out these new AI technologies, I want to emphasize that I do not entirely condone the use of AI in creative process.

I believe that art are best created through skill, talent and creativity of human artists. AI can be a useful tool to assist, but it should not replace the human element that makes art so special. I fully support and appreciate the actual process of making art, and I encourage everyone to continue to cultivate their creativity and artistic abilities through traditional means.

Synopsis: Set in 1996 Clark, Pampanga, Philippines. 5 years after the Pinatubo Eruption, a date night at the movies turns into a nightmare when one displays bizarre behavior leading them into death.

VOUS Films is a creatively driven, local media production company created by Freelance Filmmaker and Photographer, Stephen Z. Canlas.

Stephen Canlas is a Pampanga based aspiring filmmaker/photographer. Working with Pampanga’s up and coming artists/public figure such as Ashley Sison (Model/Drifter), Jericho Arceo (Youtuber), Waks Pena (Music Producer), Martin Wilkerson (Actor/Rapper), Nin Lorenzo (Choreographer) and many more. Stephen also shoots weddings, debuts and other special occasions with his creative partner, Arvin Concepcion. His Kapampangan short film ‘AYRUGO’ held its first premiere online last June 23, 2018 and gathered almost 37,000 views in one week. Stephen also produced a stunning visual to the hit-single of Joji, ‘Slow Dancing In The Dark’ during the month of October 2018 starring him and his photography muse, Denise Rivera. Stephen is currently directing music videos, commercials, and is in script development of his stories.
