TTMnews - Former Olympian reveals why athletes have so much s*x during the games

A former Olympian has explained just why athletes at the games have so much s*x.

Obviously with covid affecting the last games in Tokyo and strict social distancing measures in place meant it wasn’t quite the same Olympic experience for the athletes.

But in Paris, things will be back to normal, meaning athletes will be able mingle and socialise to their heart’s content.
And when you stick thousands of athletes at the peak of physical fitness into a village together, you can work out what’s going to happen.

Yes, over the years, the athletes village at each Olympics has garnered a reputation for being a hotbed of hanky panky.

Condoms have been handed out at Olympic games since the 1980s, and at the 2016 Olympics in Rio, it was reported that a staggering 450,000 were provided, which worked out at more than 40 condoms per athlete.
Back in July 2021, former Olympian Susen Tiedtke spoke to Bild about just why competitors at the games can’t keep their hands off each other.

The former long jumper said that s*x at the Olympics is “inevitable no matter what,” and not just because of physical attraction.

The stresses and thrills of competing and winning medals kick an athletes hormones and endorphins into overdrive, leaving them with plenty of energy to release.

She told the publication: “The athletes are at their physical peak at the Olympics. When the competition is over, they want to release their energy.”
During her career, Tiedtke recalled that coaches said s*x before competing wasn’t a good idea because “when you have s*x, the body first has to recharge itself energetically.”

But once an athlete was done competing, many had s*x, sometimes into the early hours of the morning, she claimed.

She said: “After the competition, however, roommates were considerate if you needed the room for yourself… You always heard the ‘party’ of the others, sometimes you could hardly sleep.

“There is one party after another, then alcohol comes into play. It happens that people have s*x and there are enough people who strive for that.”

S*x expert and relationship therapist Tammy Nelson said: “With the right amount of anticipation, adrenaline and dopamine can suppress stress and even decrease negative thoughts and feelings of guilt and stress.

“It may contribute to a heightened awareness of our feelings and can intensify our s*xual desire.”
She explained that hormones like serotonin, epinephrine and dopamine influence “s*x drive and s*xual arousal.

Serotonin is released when you feel pleased or accomplished, whilst dopamine is known as the ‘feel-good’ hormone, and is almost like your brains reward system.

So most of us can only imagine how much your brain would be flooded with these after winning gold or something.

Nelso also explained how the “s*xual variety” of the athletes village plays a role, saying this can “increase the releases of adrenaline, dopamine and other chemicals that contribute to thrill and adventure and may, for some, make the pursuit of s*x more rewarding.”

TTMnews - A nasty and fresh accident just an hour ago involving a PMV 25-Seater Coaster Bus heading to Mt. Hagen via Wabag.

Accident happened at Paia Kona, a section within Tambul-Nebilyer electorate.

Three confirmed deaths whilst others rushed to Mt. Hagen General Hospital for Emergency treatments and numbers are expected to rise due to the severity of the accident itself

Very unfortunate situation.

The cause of the accident maybe break failure or over speed and couldn't negotiate the oncoming vehicle and corner.

"Calling all rugby league fans and community members!

The MG UNITED JUNIOR CLUB are reaching out to request jumper donations for our upcoming season. As a junior club, we rely heavily on the support of our community to help us provide the best possible for our young players.

Jumpers are a crucial part of our team's identity and allow our players to represent their club with pride. However, due to budget constraints, we are in need of donations to help us acquire a new set of jumpers for our teams.

If you are able to donate a jumper, or know someone who is, we would be incredibly grateful. Your support would help us to continue to grow and develop as a club, and allow our young players to focus on what matters most - playing the game they love.

All donations will be acknowledged and recognized by the club,

Please get in touch with us through our social media channels or by phone # 70338164 if you are able to donate a jumper. Let's work together to make this season one to remember!

Thank you for your support."

TTMnews - A brutality act by a drunked youth in manus
By kehui pahun

Please share this post to educate our careless young men throughout Manus Province who don't have respect for old people, mothers and our sisters in our society.
This is a photo of my 72 year old mum beaten nearly to death by a drunkard youth last night when she was having her dinner in her kitchen last night at around 7-8pm. Luckily, thanks to those good and caring young man and the driver who rushed her to LGH last night. You have a heart of an angel that saved her from the devil's hand. 🙏💯 Respect to all our beloved mothers, sisters and old people who need our protection out there but yet we treat them badly.

TTMnews - Family Demands Answers: Sister's senseless murder at Hotel Hodava sparks outrage and accusations of negligence

By Vicky Amoko

My sister was brutally murdered on 2 July 2024 at her workplace Hotel Hodava by a G4S security guard who was supposed to provide security and ensure her safety while at work.
The family was left to look for her when she was not dropped off at home by G4S at the usual place and time. We only knew of her demise when a wantok identified her at the Layout at Pott Moresby General Hospital, 5 hours after her death. Her death tag pronounced her dead on arrival at 4:05pm.
Hotel Hodava and G4S know who took her body to the layout at Port Moresby General Hospital and know why they failed to inform the familly. To date our family has not heard any thing from them.
My family needs closure on this!! Hotel Hodava and G4S must come out and tell us why and how my sister was killed.
Both businesses should be fully held responsible for the death of my sister; she died while on duty and in a place where her safety was guaranteed.

TTMnews - PNG Legends of League Inc. Foundation to Support Former Kumuls

In a heart-warming move, the PNG Legends of League Inc. Foundation has been established to provide support to former Papua New Guinea Kumuls registered players who are struggling to make ends meet. Founded by legendary PNG Kumuls player, John Pius Wagambie, the non-profit organization aims to offer life insurance, medical expenses, and social support to these unsung heroes.

Wagambie, who played in the first PNG Kumuls team to take on England at Lloyd Robson Oval in 1975, is aware of the struggles many of his former teammates face. Despite their achievements on the rugby league field, many of these players are now living in poverty, struggling to sustain themselves after their playing careers.

The PNG Legends of League Inc. Foundation seeks to address this issue by offering a range of benefits to its members. A life insurance policy will be taken out to cover funeral expenses and death, ensuring that the families of former Kumuls are protected in the event of a tragedy. Medical expenses will also be covered for members who are suffering from various illnesses.

Additionally, the foundation will provide social support to its members. For those who are still young and energetic, training and job placement assistance will be offered to help them get back on their feet. For those who are not in a position to be formally employed, a small stipend will be provided to enable them to engage in small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

Rugby league is the lifeblood of Papua New Guinea, bringing the nation together in times of joy and despair. The PNG Kumuls are revered national heroes, and it is only fitting that their former players receive the recognition and support they deserve.

TTMnews - Speaker of Parliament Must not Refer Vote of No Confidence to Judiciary"

In a Commonwealth country, it is generally not appropriate for the Speaker of Parliament to refer a vote of no confidence to the judiciary for interpretation. Here's why:

1. Constitutional duty: The Speaker of Parliament is responsible for presiding over sittings, maintaining order, and ensuring that members adhere to parliamentary rules and procedures. The Speaker's primary duty is to facilitate the democratic process, not to involve the judiciary in parliamentary proceedings.

2. Legislative discretion: A vote of no confidence is a political issue that should be resolved within Parliament, not in the courts. It is a matter of confidence and accountability, which is a political judgment that Parliament is best equipped to make.

3. Separation of powers: The Constitution or statute law in a Commonwealth country typically establishes the separation of powers between the legislative, executive, and judicial branches. Parliament, as the representative of the people, has the authority to decide on matters of confidence and governance, while the judiciary has its own distinct role in interpreting laws and ensuring their constitutionality.

4. Limited judicial intervention: In most Commonwealth countries, courts are reluctant to intervene in political matters or parliamentary proceedings, except in limited circumstances such as when an electoral law or a constitutional provision is invoked. The judiciary typically defers to Parliament's role in determining matters of confidence and government formation.

In summary, while judges might be approached for advice or clarification on constitutional or legal issues, it is not appropriate for the Speaker of Parliament to refer a vote of no confidence to the judiciary for interpretation. The democratic process and separation of powers principles are best upheld by Parliament itself resolving these matters, rather than by refering them to courts.

TTMnews -Innovative Farmers and Entrepreneurs Shine at CGC Agri Trade Expo

The Credit Guarantee Corporation (CGC) Agri Trade Expo, held at APEC Haus in Port Moresby, has showcased the best of Papuan agriculture and entrepreneurship. The expo featured three innovative farmers and entrepreneurs who are making waves in the industry.

Nellie Varmari, a prominent coffee entrepreneur through her company Central Mamina, impressed visitors with her high-quality coffee products. Sourcing her coffee beans from local farmers in Central, Milne Bay, and Gulf provinces, Nellie roasts and packs them for distribution, setting her apart with her dedication to quality and support for local farmers.

Tim Numilengi, an East Sepik native, is leading the way in agriculture downstream processing. As the founder of Mande Chicken, Tim provides fresh, packaged chicken to consumers from his base in Nadzab, Morobe. He showcased his products at the expo, demonstrating his commitment to innovative food processing.

Innovative technology was also on display at the expo, with Christopher Tep, founder of Grow Hariap Fertiliser, introducing an agriculture drone from China. The drone has the potential to revolutionize farming practices and improve crop yields. Christopher hopes to launch the drone at the SME Breakfast on Thursday, and its impact on the agricultural sector is highly anticipated.

The CGC Agri Trade Expo has highlighted the entrepreneurial spirit and innovative approaches in PNG farmers and entrepreneurs. As the industry continues to evolve, it is heartening to see individuals like Nellie, Tim, and Christopher leading the way with their cutting-edge products and technologies.
