It’s fun but it’s not that easy to be a Leader!!As the duty teacher of this 2nd Week of schooling. My message to them on Monday morning Assembly was “As adults in an adult learning environment, Trainers/Duty Teachers are not suppose to shout at anyone to do this & that. Instead use your initiatives as students to Listen & follow simple instructions given.”
Today (Friday). I am glad that I stood on my words to never raise my voice one bit but to lead & instruct this trainees with good intentions and a heart willing to help. (As I was told by my Lecturer in college about a famous quote, “As a trainer, Raise your words and not your voice, it is rain that grows plants and not thunder”.)
Yes I tried it & the response from the trainees this week is gold! Thank you once again trainees for this week’s experience with you all and see you’s again when am tasked on duty! Yes Respect & professionalism at work is a Virtue especially when it comes to real training for real Jobs.! Blessed weekend & I wish you all a Happy Learning year 2025. 🖤💯🔥🇵🇬

Good night to you fans from The Northern Zone Ladies,Matani Telaki group. (anu mai Hapela). Coming together and have fun is always part of us Islanders and it has become part of our tradition. It is very important for us because it only happens once in awhile during Christmas. we get to put on our best tucala(laplap/sarong) & dance together as families, enjoy together as a community, laugh together, look forward for the new year & forget our differences. This is also the only time we can play together with any visitors friends and families who are coming home for holidays. It’s Normal for us. .
