Such a heart dissolving picture signifies how rotten, stinky, corrupt our government system is. Every PNG citizens have the right to free Healthcare and it's the most important service that must be provided & accessable to EVERY CITIZENS.
This days its so sad to see government divert hefty funds in Sports than in improving Healthcare systems in PNG.

Innocent poor people like us will ALWAYS be deprived of our right to free healthcare services in our own country!

When our elected leaders enjoy the comfort of luxuries in Pom, poor people are struggling to access basic services like bridges, roads & hospitals. The struggle is real for our people in the remotest parts of Papua New Guinea.

We will only blame ourselves for electing foolish people to represent us.

Hi Fiona, as a grown-up woman, you should know better. Every achievements (big/small) in life is meant to be celebrated. If you've never seen one, then your folks aren't as proud as hers. Stop hating on fellow female's success in education. If you've got nothing better to say then don't! If you don't want to see, just simply skip, there's no need to pour cold water.

Life is short, it's worth celebrating educational achievement than mare entertainments!

A painful yet impressive farewell was shown by medical students and doctors at the Jacksons International Airport before Professor John Vince returns to UK after 50 years of service to the people of Papua New Guinea.

Professor Vince is a pediatrician, came to PNG back in the 1980s.

He trained many doctors, saved thousands especially children at the Port Moresby General Hospital and produced many doctors while teaching at the UPNG's medical school.

Health Secretary Dr. Osborne Liko who was once his student says Prof. Vince's dedication to improving pediatric care and education has left a lasting legacy in the country.

He described him has a person of humility and simplicity, someone who doesn’t like recognition.

Dr. Liko says Medical Society have suggested for Queens award, Logohu award or even Medical Society award for his contributions but he refused all.

Meantime his lifelong service to the country remains a testament to his enduring love and passion for the people of PNG.
