Mt Balbi know as Tutue by people of Rotokas in Wakunai District, Bougainville is an active volcano that rewards trekkers with stunning scenery, steaming fumaroles and a blue crater lake. The hike up to Mt Balbi is one of the challenging and tough thing to do. It takes 2 to 3 days to climb up to the summit but depending on how fast a person can walk.
