Today is the Great May Day. It is a historic day to establish the rights of all the working people of the world.

On this day in 1886, the workers of the Hay Market in the city of Chicago, United States, started a movement to demand a fair price for labor and more than eight hours of work per day. The police opened fire on the protesting workers that day. Many workers were injured. Through their self-sacrifice, the demand for eight hours of daily work was established. Since then the day has been celebrated as May Day.

This day of sacrifice of workers is being celebrated as 'Great May Day' all over the world.
Let the fair rights of the working people of the world be realized.
