It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Lama Karma Samten. Affectionately known as "Lama", he has been a constant spiritual influence in our lives for over 30 years.
Lama was the creative force behind the Grammy Award-winning 2004 recording Sacred Tibetan Chant – Tibet Sherab Ling Monks. His wisdom, compassion, and dedication to spreading peace and understanding touched countless lives. His teachings have left an indelible mark on our journey toward mindfulness, kindness, and spiritual growth.
A revered teacher and guiding light in the Buddhist community, Lama's friendship was like sharing space with a deep well of kindness and wisdom. His presence was calm yet powerful, reminding us to stay grounded and compassionate, even in life’s storms. In his quiet way, he always knew how to offer a word of encouragement or a moment of reflection when it was most needed.
Being around him felt like a gentle nudge toward becoming a better version of yourself. His friendship was a rare gift - one that filled your heart with peace, clarity, and a deeper connection to the world around you. Lama's memory will remain a lasting source of guidance and warmth.
He will be deeply missed.
