Manages Little Monsters DJ Halo was created in Otautahi Christchurch, New Zealand. There she teamed up with Rube and Noncharlet to form the WIP crew.

She discovered dance music in 1999 and started playing at house parties, then got her first set with Massive and went on to play at many outdoor dance parties in Canterbury including Solstice, Canaan Downs and Destination. t more local talent and beginning DJs. LMDJ are now an established crew in the Wellington techno scene. She's played for the Funkhutt crew, graced the decks at AUM, Twisted AUM, Signature Socials , Third Eye Hi Fi, The Closet, Taniwhas Den, Open Air and is a regular at Kiwiburn. The Journey

Halo was created in the shadow of the Port Hills near Christchurch, New Zealand. She discovered dance music in 1999 after attending a friend’s 21st. There were DJs there playing house and drum n bass on vinyl. She was hooked!

She started playing at house parties then got her first set with Massive and went on to play at many outdoor dance parties in Canterbury including Soulstice, Canaan Downs and Destination.

Moving to Wellington in 2010, she got her residency at the well loved Laundry Bar on Cuba Street soon after it opened. She runs the regular Cheeky Sunday Sessions and soon teamed up with Rube and Noncharlet to form the WIP crew, who have regular house nights at Laundry, featuring the best local DJs and new talent. After Noncharlet moved to Auckland she took over WIP and continues to run these nights. In 2019 she started Little Monsters DJ to support even more local talent and the plan is to expand the house nights to include her love of Bass and Drum n Bass. She also plays in Auckland for the Funkhutt crew and has graced the decks at AUM and Kiwiburn several times.

Halo’s favourite space is the warm up set. Whatever the genre she’s playing she knows the importance of setting the scene for the night. She is aware that the tempo, the groove, the energy and even the texture of every record must be seriously considered. This sensitivity to the way music influences the crowd allows her to begin the patient task of drawing people to the dance floor. And it leaves her free to party up for the rest of the night of course!
