Kia ora e te iwi. I'm looking for work!
In July of this year I quit my day job and returned to life as a full-time arts practitioner. The first few months went pretty well, but the hopes I had of Christmas entertainment work coming through in Nov/Dec just aren't eventuating, and given the current state of things here in Pōneke it looks unlikely they will. So I find myself available for (and honestly in need of) some mahi to get me through the rest of the year.
Stuff I'm really good at:
- Facilitating workshops which foster connection and encourage a sense of play.
- MCing and Hosting events.
- Entertaining for corporate and community events (think character roaming, murder mystery nights, all of that jazz!).
- Facilitating public speaking, and presentation workshops for those wanting to get more confident and comfortable speaking in front of a crowd.
- Voice work for both commercial and character-based text.
- Speaking to and advocating for the arts industry, especially independent practitioners.
- Event coordination.
- Funding and budgeting for independent events.
Stuff I'm pretty good at and have experience in:
- Sales (both retail and advertising).
- Client Management.
- Admin and Customer Service.
- Children's Entertainment.
- Stage Management.
- Publicity for events.
- Writing (copy, editorial, and performing arts reviewing).
So, if you're in need of any of those skills/services then send me a message or email [email protected]. Also feel free to share my details with someone you think I might be of service to.
If want to support what I do bringing over hundred independent arts events to thousands of people every year, then you can donate me "a coffee" directly and help me buy vegetables and get a haircut.
