Being a video for children, naturally this gave the Frank Team the chance to pull out all of the filmmaking ‘tricks’; star wipes, funny sound effects, teleportation gags… classic. Watch it now in the link in bio.

Which Wellington eatery should we visit next?

You may be asking ‘So, what was that whole Frankly Delicious thing about?’

Well, the Frank Team had a rather quiet June, and instead of gathering around the heater and waiting for work to come in, we figured we should get out there and make some! We decided to get out and celebrate some of our favourite Wellington cafes, takeaways and restaurants by making a short video on their most popular dish. This gave us a chance to film social content using the Frank storytelling vibe we love, but in a shorter form. It also meant we could try and some new gear and post production software. Never stop learning. It also meant that we got to see behind the curtain of some cool establishments, meet some lovely people and give back to the Wellington Hospo community which is finding it tough right now. We also got to try some amazing food, no complaints there!

A huge shout out to Kieran and Marina from , Massimo from , Tommy and Owen from , Teag, Isaac and Phoebe at , and Tim and Mia from for having us and showing us what you do! We had a blast!

We will have a wee break (work) before we film a Season Two…. but, where should we go next in Wellington? and what is their best dish?

Suggestion in the comments below please!

Another beautiful and super important kōrero captured by our team at Frank Productions alongside our Nuku Ora whānau, spotlighting the incredible rangatahi and the amazing people who work with them. Their voices are vital in understanding their aspirations and breaking down barriers to participation. It's not just about physical well being – it nurtures all the walls of Te Whare Tapa Whā.

It's a privilage to help empower and enhance the mana of our rangatahi through this kaupapa.

What an incredible project to be part of, in a truly magical place full of incredible people.

Check out some of our recent work with Fire and Emergency NZ telling the story of St Arnaud, a beautiful lake-side community nestled in the Nelson Lakes National Park who are combating wildfire risk in an effort to save lives.

The incredible collaboration between Fire and Emergency NZ, the Department of Conservation, Tasman District Council - Te Kaunihera o te tai o Aorere , Royal New Zealand Air Force, Pacific Discovery and the amazing local community, hopes to inspire other isolated communities and brigades to reduce their risk, get ready and build resilience.

Huge thanks to our very talented team:

Travel is a big part of our work at Frank; in fact we spent 51 days on the road filming around Aotearoa last year. While it’s great to explore our beautiful country it’s also important to stay in touch with family as we do so. A favourite amongst our crew and clients are Hamish’s ‘Chudsy Videos’… an affectionate nickname for his daughter Maggie, and a nice way to update her on the days happenings. Often filmed quickly by Luke during a break in our filming or while we travel to location, these videos have Hamish at peak dad-ness. Never change Hamish.

He aha te mea nui o te ao – what is the most important thing in the world?

He tangata, he tangata, he tangata – it is the people, it is the people, it is the people.

Courage, community and connection, all wrapped up in a desire to help, to learn, to be better and to be there. This is the incredible kaupapa and mahi Frank Productions experienced on the road working alongside NZ Police in some of amazing small communities around Aotearoa for the past 8 months – and behind all of it, the staff, the community, the stories, everything – are people. And that’s what it’s about right? That’s why it matters. Because it’s about people. All people.

“If you want to work with people, this is where people are”
