An inspiring, international, innovative, initiative - World class concert at 30,000 feet.

Air New Zealand has turned a Tasman crossing into a full blown celebration in the skies, delivering a first of its kind SYNTHONY in the Sky flight that transformed the cabin of NZ1331 into a buzzing concert venue at 30,000 feet.

The sold out experience took off on Thursday 4 December, bringing together Kiwi artistry, a flight full of fans, and a line up of world class performers for a high altitude celebration of music, creativity and connection.

Meeting Newz Magazine November / December 2025

In this edition we visit the Bay of Plenty, Rotorua and Taupō regions and catch up on the latest news and developments.

We take a closer look at Auckland, the New Zealand International Convention Centre, along with the Business Events Expo, held on November 25th, at the Auckland Viaduct Events Centre.

Now in its third year, it’s the only event of its kind in New Zealand that showcases both international, and domestic business event and travel suppliers.

It is a pleasure to welcome the Hotel Council Aotearoa and James Doolan as a new regular column contributor to the magazine. We will continue to collaborate with our key industry partners and provide a platform for them to voice their opinions. You can read his column on page 24.
