Just launched on the weekend!

The new Oceanpro 535 centre console paired with 90hp Honda is a well set up boat for fishing!

Fitted with U-Dek throughout it looks great, with the latest Lowrance HDS-Pro and Recon trolling motor to hunt down fish.

Thanks to Mike at Oceanpro for such a top boat and easy build process. So many features, a full profile in August issue of FIGZ.

The Lanza solid carbon tech lure rods went down well at May's Hutchwilco NZ Boat Show.

Rod builder Graeme Paterson was featured in the Herald Business section, which really lifted the profile and so many people came to the stand to buy rods.

After working 7 days straight with the boat show last week, you need to get out on the water and cast a lure!

Softbaiting in the Oceanpro 535CC off Tairua we hit Slipper Is to test the Lanza rods.

Fishing was slow but we picked up a few good fish, with a big dog going 76cm that was released. The Crush City Rock Melon was doing the job, it was a mint day out there. 😎

Top day supporting the Kauri Coast Surfcasting Comp on Ripiro Beach. We got several kahawai but no big dogs over 2kg for cash prizes up for grabs.

So we moved spots to a bank on outgoing catching several pannie snapper to 44cm on fresh trev baits, when the big dog hit Shawn's rod in the holder.

With plenty of advice on leaving his drag alone, the big snapper came in beat about 10 mins later and his PB going 75cm and weighing in at over 7.2kg to take first prize! A Lanza rod donated by Graeme Paterson.

Ali Hammond also had arrived with a crew & seeing the big fish, cast near the same spot and caught his PB 57cm fish that went over 3kg to take 2nd spot.
West is best!

Softbaiting the Kaipara with Lanza Rods!

It was hard fishing with the full moon & only several fish landed but Brian Snooks scored his PB of 79cm on a Zman New Penny 7".

Switching to a new Rapala Crush City 7" - he nailed a 69cm & 75cm snap.

The new Lanza Slipknot 7"2' softbaiting rod is such a good blank, with power at hand to subdue big fish 👌
