Well Taupo, it’s that time of year again! A time when filmmakers, artists, and actors come together to inspire and to frighten. The film festival began in 2014 and has since sparked filmmakers and the Taupo community alike, to fall in love with the biennial event. It’s a time where you can see raw creativity unleashed and adored by the audience.
The event’s creator, Joel Corbett, is an avid filmmaker himself and the man behind Corbie Films, a well-known local film company. In 2014 he began brainstorming to put together an event allowing others to explore, create and share their own passion of creating movie magic.
The festival will be hosted by Starlight Cinema on October 28th, 2018.
A programme will be published once the videos have been selected and approved by the censorship board.
